Profile: In the peaceful wilderness of Northumberland there is something brewing. An undefined sound that bares the hallmarks of punk, pop, rock, metal and emo is blasting across the county. This is Lithium! A huge energy ball of aggression, emotion and sensitivity, but thats just their songs. Live is just a mad show that you have to experience to believe. Formed in summer of 2003 the line up has changed a few times. Originally an idea of Scott and Andrew only became a reality when Shaun placed his guitars aside and took up bass. After the original drummer quit, Scott took up the role as drummer. After six months of no singer they eventually acquired one. For the first time they started getting some where but falling outs with the singer over control issues lead to him being thrown out. Over hearing Scott singing one day the lads decided that he should become the singer. Finding it hard to sing and play drums at the same time led to numerous practises till he could manage to sing a few songs while playing. In Easter 2004 when practising they found Alasdair hanging around and gave him a shot on the drums. Only been playing since the Christmas he impressed the band. Something just clicked and Lithium was formed.Sounds Like: Other then the freshest punk/rock act at the moment... Well you'll just have to listen for yourself!Influences: Everything!!!
