is now available!
£10 + £2 P&P to UK
Founded in early 2008, UK based industrial synthcore unit Method Cell have quickly gained a reputation as one of the most exciting, innovative electronic acts to emerge out of the UK underground scene in recent times. Combining high energy harmonics and acerbic lyrics with searing bass and beats, Method Cell prove there’s more to a club hit than swearing by numbers, and industrial doesn’t have to mean monotone.
Method Cell signed to Rebco Records in early 2010, then an additional deal with WTII Records for the US. Soaring from strength to strength, Method Cell released their début album, “Curse Of A Modern Age” on 1st September 2010. Following the success live shows around the UK (including support for Combichrist and Nachtmahr) plus regular international club and radio play, industrial synthcore unit Method Cell make their mark with an album set to shake up the scene.
"Method Cell have certainly made their manifesto known on this debut effort, and may have just come up with the best EBM album of the year so far, certainly in the UK scene, all the more surprising considering it is a debut effort for them." - 10/10 - NXLive
"The other thing that makes 'Curse Of A Modern Age' essential listening is the clever, tongue-in-cheek lyrics that could only come from a British band." - Dominion Magazine (also featured in Dominion's Top 10 albums of 2010)
"Their music is not just about coming up with a catchy dance beat or screaming down the mic. It's about interesting songs with thoughtful lyrics; something which is missing from many electronic bands music these days." - Unscene Magazine
Combining dance-fuelled industrial with a contagious strain of synthpop, Method Cell make their intentions crystal clear: We can infect your dance floor.
