Chapter I
10 Hours Earlier
Akira's House

Akira woke up, someone was throwing rocks at his window.Getting up out of bed he walked over and saw it was Colbey. Colbey was wearing his black and white skull covered hoodie with a pair of black faded baggy jeans and a Pirates of the Caribbean hat, that he had taken from Akira and never gave back. Akira couldn't see Colbey's shoes but they were more than likely Colbey's pink and black DC Shoes. Akira smiled and opened the window.

"Hi," Akira called down softly, his parents were still asleep in the next room. Colbey motioned to the door and then to his car. Akira nodded biting his lower lip and heading back inside his room. Walking over to his closet he pulled out a pair of skinny jeans and pulled a pair of clean-ish socks onto his feet and then his orange and black Koi fish converse. He didn't wear a shirt, his back corset piercing showing perfectly against the moonlight that was still shining brightly. He grabbed a length of red silk ribbon and headed quietly downstairs. The house that Akira now lived in was completely recently built so there were no squeaks in the stairs when Akira walked down. Grabbing his fishnet top from the dirty laundry he headed out the door and shut it quietly behind him.

"Hello," Colbey said from behind him and Akira smiled handing Colbey the ribbon.

"Can you please-"

"Of course," Colbey said and Akira turned around so that Colbey could lace the thread through the piercings. Colbey's hands gently threaded the silk through the holes and when he was done Akira didn't hesitate to throw on his fishnet top. Turning around and facing Colbey Akira bowed and then stood up straight.

"How do I-"

"Gorgeous," Colbey said not even allowing Akira to finish his sentence. Akira laughed and took Colbey's offered hand. Walking around to the garage they opened up the doors and pushed Akira's 2008 Beetle, laser blue in color, to the end of Akira's driveway. It was arduous as Akira's driveway was about a fourth of a mile but once they were at the end Akira and Colbey got in, Akira in the driver's seat, and drove off.

Nine And A Half Hours Earlier
Joe's Pub
-----------------------------
By the time Colbey and Akira got to Joe's, the local pub, Akira was pissed off and Colbey was ready to punch someone in theface. Akira had argued with Colbey about the radio and who should get to listen to their station, Colbey arguing that he hadn't listened to his station the past 4 nights, which he hadn't, but Akira arguing that Colbey had listened to his station and that it was his turn.
"I'll see you later when you're not being a stubborn little git," Akira said getting out and walking in before Colbey could say anything.

"And I'll see you when you're not being so absolutely stupid and self-centered," Colbey muttered to himself getting out of the car and going inside himself. Akira was standing at the bar getting a bottle of rum from Joe. Colbey rolled his eyes and walked over to Akira.

"Look I'm sorry okay, you can listen to your music whenever," Colbey said taking the rum from Akira.

"No, you're my guest and you should be allowed to listen to whatever you want whenever you're with me." Akira said looking at Colbey.

"It's your car though, your car, your music." Colbey said smiling and looking at Akira.

"Whatever, let's just dance," Akira said taking a large drink of the rum and setting it down on the table. "Save that for me will you Joe?" Akira called and Joe nodded putting it on the top shelf of the bar.

"So what song are you going to-" Colbey began.

"You're Not Alone by Saosin, as always," Akira said smiling, knowing what Colbey was going to ask. Putting a coin in the juke Akira scanned to thte 12 page of CDs and hit the button for You're Not Alone. Everyone in the bar shouted when the song changed from Not Listening by Papa Roach but cheered in acceptance of the change when they relaized what song it was. Most of the people in the town where Akira and Colbey lived were rockers and whether it was emo, punk, goth, prep, if it was rock, they listened to it.

"Come on," Akira said pulling Colbey out onto the dance floor and smiling.

"All right," Colbey said smiling and following Akira out to the dance floor.

Chapter III
Nine Hours Earlier
Joe's Pub
------------------
After a few songs Colbey and Akira retreated outside and were staring up at the stars. Well, Colbey was. Akira was looking through his cell phone replying to his friend Hilarie and Billie had just sent him a text as well. After a while Akira was wrapped up in a texting battle with Hilarie and almost forgot Colbey was there. Colbey nudged him making him jump.

"Nani?" Akira said, speaking in Japanese on accident. "Eh, what?"

"Sorry...You just looked so busy I had to distract you." Colbey laughed. Akira rolled his eyes and sighed leaning his head on Colbey's shoulder. Colbey smiled and wrapped his arms around Akira's shoulders.

"I'm sorry," Colbey laughed.

"I know," Akira said laughing himself, "it's not that big of a deal."

"If you say so," Colbey said snickering and prodding Akira in the side after taking his arms off Akira's shoulders. Akira made a face.

"What was that for?" Akira asked, Colbey made a face himself.

"What was what for?" Colbey said acting as if he hadn't done anything. Akira reached out and prodded Colbey.

"That!" Akira said laughing.
