Personality: quick to anger, feels the feelings of those around her, chivalrous, has an enormous sense of justice, has the classic halfie shyness. Psycologists have branded her a paranoid freak, even though her case isn't half bad. It's because of some minor blood tests they, for some reason had to take. And also, when the manor burnt down, she developed a case of pyrophobia.
Background: Born the Mayor's niece, she was raised with his daughter, Moress Romanii. Kiera is his lamian brother's daughter, but her father was staked by Hunters, as was her human mother. She would have died too, if not for her Uncle. He saved her from them, when they weren't looking. He didn't kill them, becuase then he would have attracted attention to the rest of his family. Which, obviously is a bad idea. When it was her cousin's birthday, both children suddenly felt the stange craving for blood. When her cousin asked the cook for a rare lamb chop, Kiera's world exploded in horror. Luckily, her Uncle saved the day again, he managed to get Moress and Kiera out of the house, but was stuck inside when the house caught on fire. He had been trying to get to Kiera's Aunt, shes the only person whom they heard scream. Afterwards, a wierdish man came to get them and bring them to the Vampire City. Ever since then, Kiera has dreamed of a normal life. Even though her occasionally morbid cousin says thats bullshit.
Anything else: She has an Alaskan Wolf-Hound named Juno, who acts as her body guard.
