Imperial Law Preface A: Staff Obligations Mods: * Watch threads for inappropriate content, post three new threads per week, whether about cult news or events, or personal areas of interest. * Send at minimum 400 invites per week. * Must join the Eighth_Plague_Nobility. Admins: * Recruit mods and watch them. Make sure that they fulfill their posting and inviting obligations. Be prepared to terminate their position if they fail in their obligations. * Send 400 or more invites per week. * Post five new topics of special interest each week. * Must join the Eighth_Plague_Nobility. Roots: * Candidates will posess knowledge of HTML to change image codes etc., and will be given a test whereby they will copy header, etc. codes from one cult to a blank one and to change colors as well as certain links. * Will monitor admins for performance, and exercise control over mods as well as admins. * Will update HTML for monthly changes in top posters and inviters. * Will fix any other HTML-related issues throughout the Empire. * Must join the Eighth_Plague_Nobility. Co-Owners (The Imperial Senate): * Are those who have proven themselves as roots in fulfilling all of their obligations. * Co-Owners are each given a cult to rule over. * Must join the Eighth_Plague_Senate and participate in legislative issues throughout the Empire and impose sanctions. ALL STAFF: Please use decent or reasonably acceptable spelling, grammar and punctuation, as well as proper-case capitalization in all topics that you start. We want to set a good example. Imperial Law 1A: Senators will rule over one or more of the Eighth Plague VF Cults. The Imperial Senate will meet on the 8th of every month, in a pre-chosen location until its permanent residence is established. Imperial Law 2A: The membership of the Order shall be limited to 88. Those members must remain active to remain members of the Order. Those without posts will be replaced by newer applicants desiring the position. The Order shall be the inviter for the Legion, until such time as the Legion reaches it's maximum 10,000, at which time the Legion will close its doors and its members must invite for the rest of the Empire. The Order will retire its members from inviting with permanent places of honor for them in the Order. Imperial Law 2B: The Covenant's membership will be capped at 888 members in the same manner. The Covenant's mission will be to not only recruit for themselves, but also for the Horde. Imperial Law 3A: The cults of the Empire will affiliate with any cult on two conditions. 1) The cult we are affiliating with must have more than 100 members. 2) The affiliation must be logical in a content/theme sense, i.e. Eighth Plague Witchery affiliates with Wiccan/pagan cults, Eighth Plague Pack affiliates with werewolf/lycanthrope cults etc. Any staff member who affiliates must also update the HTML to show the affiliate's banner in the 'Affiliates' tab section. The rule for this is: Imperial cults come first in order, and outside affiliates will be arranged alphabetically following our cult listings. (This order must be maintained in the built-in affiliation section as well.) Territorial Organization Within the Empire 8 Houses will rule over 80 Domains (10 each) which will rule over 800 Municipalities (10 each). (Or a similar number scheme representing a hierarchal pyramid.) The Eight Ruling Houses will each have a color, and will take importance in this order: Blue: Sovereignty Purple: Nobility Pink: Senate Red: Dominion (Rules over Bloodline, etc. Orange: Gathering (Rules over Harvest, etc.) Yellow: Covenant (Rules over Guild, Horde, etc.) Green: Faction (Rules over Witchery, etc.) Aqua: Myriad All cults of that color will be ruled by that House. The cults of the Eight that haven't been created yet will be, and I'll need HTML help to set them all up (just copying and changing some pic references, text and font colors.) The Senate will be composed of one representative (co-owner) of each of the Eight Houses. Michele represents the Nobility, and she will appoint a vice-chairperson to represent the Senate as a House. The remainder of chairs will have to be fought for as the ruling cults are completed, and these positions will be based on dedication to the cult in question as Michele has always shown for the Covenant and others. Votes in the Senate will carry the weight of one, and all approved legislation must be passed through the Supreme Chancellor, then decided by the eighth vote, that of the Emperor and Empress, who vote as one. The Senate meets again on June 8th. If you are looking for a Senatorial seat, please inbox a request to me for Root assignment to a cult, and then satisfactorily set up the layout of that cult and your chair will be granted. Things that must be changed in new layouts (or.. 8 steps to the Senate ;)): 1. Font colors in header block (5 colors from the bottom, last is ignored, next two up are visited and the two above are the main font color.) 2. Background ankh in header block (Background image reference.) 3. Banner as well as its reference and image in the banner section, along with the text area for it. 4. Three colors to match cult font color, as well as cult name, in the Consort of Lilith counter. 5. Affiliates section to include all cults of the Empire excluding the cult in question. 6. Update invite code with correct banner, hreference and cult name. 7. Staff pics in the marquee. 8. Top poster and inviter pics, or insert the Key of Gomorrah from the 'Main' section as a placeholder, sized at 100X100.
