Personality: For the most part, Ryan is the good natured, sociable type. His uncanny ability to attract people into his social circle, means he is rarely left wanting for company. This was not however, always the case. His easy going, relaxed sense of self confidence was something he fought to develop after escaping a deeply suppressed lifestyle. After much research, Ryan felt he had finally found a spirituality befitting his alternative perspective. Strengths & Weaknesses: At times Ryan has great difficulty dealing with overtly stressful situations. Such events bring out the dual nature of his personality, causing him to withdraw from company. Favorite Music: Ryan has a great passion for various sub-divisions of the rock music genre. However, he can appreciate a wide spectrum of musical styles. Raised by his mother, Ryan grew up with his two younger brothers in the North East of England. Being a male of alternative tastes and appearance, meant that Ryan became familiar with violence at a young age. Bullied relentlessly throughout his school life, Ryan found no sanctuary at home, since his mother possessed an unhinged view of the world, along with a strong hand fueled by an inability to control her temper. The only solace he found, was in the fictional worlds of his own, and others creation. By disengaging himself from the outside world, Ryan quickly developed a powerful imagination, which he used to protect his young mind from the truth of his own reality. It wasn't until his late teenage years did Ryan find the strength to break away from the malignant influence of his mother, and build a life of his own. And so began his long journey towards mending the years of damage inflicted on him by his parent and society. It was a painfully long process, but as his circle of friends grew, so did his sense of self worth. However, at a point where he found himself truly at ease with the man he had become, Nuclear war took a firm grip of Ryan's home country, destroying everything he had ever known. A bizarrely twisted army of inhuman creatures spread across England, decimating any resistance to fall in their path. As the god forsaken horde pushed further north, Ryan found himself caught up in the violence. Unable to escape, he was struck by the blast wave of an explosion so intense, it caused ripples in the very fabric of reality. As he came to, Ryan found himself in a world that was wholly alien to him. With a great sense of trepidation, he journeys forth to explore the strange land he had found himself in. |
