Personality: She is rather quiet and keeps to herself alot. She has major issues with being touched and it is a BAD idea if you do, the only people she will allow to do so is people whom she trusts, she also has trust issues so earning that will be a hard task. She is very kind and friendly once one has earned her trust but can hold a grudge. She becomes VERY protective and loyal if she becomes close with someone who has earned her trust. But when provoked, beware, it is a dangerous mistake
Background: When she was 8, her parents were killed by people who called themselves hunters. The city where she lived was raided by these creatures with fangs and red eyes, she didn't know what they were. They didn't seem to want anything to do with anyone but the hunters, it was like a war, between hunters and these...creatures. Her parents didn't care about themselves, all they cared about was getting there daughter to safety, but they were caught in the crossfire, both were shot by the guns of the hunters. After that, she just ran, as far as she could, as fast as she could, she didn't know where she was going and she didn't care, she didn't know what else to do, she just wanted to get away from the city...where all the fighting was. She didn't know what those creatures were, but she swore that someday, she would get revenge on those hunters for what happened to her parents. After countless days of running away, no food or water and not knowing where she was, she found these people, they kind of scared her, but they offered her food and water and a warm place to stay. She told them the story of what happened to her parents and how she ran away. After a few weeks, these people told her that those creatures, were vampire and so were they. They showed her what a vampire could do and what they....ate..and they offered her to be turned, they told her how it would happen and what it would feel like afterwards. She thought about it for a few days and decided, she'd do it. After she was turned, they trained her, taught her the ways of a vampire, she became faster and stronger than they ever expected, she was even taught how to manipulate the elements. As the years went on, she grew into a beautiful young vampire, much stronger and faster than many where she lived, which came much to the surprise of many. They took her in, these people were all she knew now, they were her family. But as the years passed, the woman who had answered the door to her all those years ago, had died...giving birth to her daughter. This had a devastating impact on Amaya, and she didn't want to stay there anymore as she had now lost the person who was the most near and dear to her, so she left and began travelling and still to this day, she wonders why they took her in, why they didn't just ....eat her...then and there. Was it pity maybe? Or did they see something in her? She didn't know and knew she would probably never find out
Anything else: Has crimson red eyes which turn to black when she is angry or hungry. Has the ability to completely zone out, blocking out all voices and noises, usually does this when upset.
