About Me
Brought up on "So Graham Norton", "Ricki Lake" and "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch", my childhood TV veiwing has probably a lot to answer for in terms of how messed up I am. Nowadays you're more likely to find me rofling to some satire such as "Have I got News for you?" and most definately watching the News, it's my favourite programme.
I have aspirations, I want a career involved in current affairs, such as working on the news or being the next Ian Hislop, whatever I do, it hopefully involves attending the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Currently however my life is an endless parade of html, css and photoshopping. It's all I ever seem to be doing. To the extent that I stay home sometimes to do it, (worrying, I know). I've been gradually teaching myself HTML since I joined this site in October 2005. I also attend the Current Affairs Society and Debating Society at my school and partake in Model United Nations, (a roleplay debating confrence thing).
I am mostly a recluse, finding social interactions very awkward and embarrasing, but when I do venture out I always have a laugh with my friends. We talk a lot fo crap and do a lot of random stuff, but it's all harmless fun, that keeps us laughing for days. Strangely I am much more comfortable addressing a crowd rather than having a one on one conversation.
Its the little things I apreciate a lot, like cups of tea, ice cream, planning and lorries. I like books and films about teenagers, secret agents and sknheads. (So really someone should write a book about a 16 year old neo-nazi working for MI6). My hero is Justin Geever aka Justin Sane, he's the singer in my favourite band, also has a few solo albums and is a political activist. I also really like Rebecca Romijn (Alexis Meade in Ugly Betty), because she's super pretty =]
I'm left wing and like it or not I'm a big fan of Gordon Brown. I don't really know why, but I think he's a great prime minister. We're all entitled to our oppinions but personally I think David Cameron is a joke, they way he's trying to get "down with the homies". Barak Obama for President, purely on the basis of elimination.
As a Christian I like to think I try my best to be a good person, and to spread God's love. You'll find I rarely lie, it's something I think is pointless, everyone eventually gets caught out, its not worth the embarrasment.
I do have dislikes but I don't want to moan so I'll keep it brief, I severely dislikes how no one seems to care that 9 year old girls are obsessed with playboy. Don't their parents understand what it is? (well done for making it this far, put the word eminem in your comment so I know you've read this, thanks) I also severly dislike the authority at my school, most of the rules are so silly. Especially when they tell me to take my bracelets off when there's a bunch of guys getting high on the playing fields going unnoticed.
To end on a positive, cyanide & happiness - never fails to cheer me up and make me laugh.
ps. There is the small matter of the love/hate obsession with the history teacher that I haven't discussed, but if you take the time to converse with me, you'll learn about it sooner or later.
"You should be a light for other people.
Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven."

Paralyzed - The Used Before I could ever let you go Gonna beg until I drive you mad Say something you could understand I'm a statue baby, knock me out Oh how these moments fade away, you say you never loved me We say things we didn't mean to say I take it back, I take it all back now Paralyzed by the same old antics Back and forth like some walking spastic How could a fistfight be romantic? Thinking back now will you ever feel the same? You mean more to me than you'll ever know You're my girl and I think it's a shame That we get along this way I'm just a statue try to knock me out You gotta let me know I'm dying inside to know Knock me out, I'm dying inside to know Let me know, knock me out
