[Likes] Her pack, Cordelia, Sono, food, training and running, the moon, musik [Dislikes] Kuro dislikes the heat, rude/cruel people, and hunters History/Background: Kuro was born in a mountainous region in the north of Japan. She was born into a pack that numbered around 17 packmembers. Her father was born in Japan as well, and had been a wolf shapeshifter as well as an ice elemental. Her mother, born in Iceland, who was also a wolf shapeshifter, had some strange blood running through her veins. Though predominantly wolf, Kuro's grandmother had passed on her cheetah blood to her daughter (Kuro�s mother)[giving her the option of shapeshifting to either wolf or cheetah form], as well as some psychic abilities [predominantly telekenesis]. As Kuro grew older, she would realize that her mother's mixed bloodlines were the reason behind her speed, flexibility, and ability to mix ice attacks with telekenesis. Kuro looked up to her parents with great pride as they were the pack's leaders. Her pack had many happy years together withought much conflict with any other pack. But one day, hunters who had been monitoring the pack for a few years, and fearing that the pack would grow bigger and encrouch onto land that was to be used for urban expansion, decided to destroy the pack. They set the forest ablaze, effectively clearing the land and wiping out her pack. Her father had taken a stand to face the hunters with a few other packmembers, while her mother tried to lead the rest to safety. Kuro was pained as she had to leave her father behind, but she left with her mother anyway. Soon the flames grew higher and trapped the pack, and one by one, each packmember fell. In a final effort, Kuro's mother carried her as far as she could away from the flames, but it was too much for her, and she succumbed to the smoke and flames. Overwhelmed with sadness and lonliness, Kuro ran with all the strength she had in her paws until she finally collpased near a stange cabin at the base of the mountains. It was there that she encountered the kind old man that would become her sensei and teach her everything she needed to survive and improve her abilities. About 16 years later, she left in search of a pack to call her own.

Recently, after meeting up with three members of a new pack, Sono discovered that he is an Ice Avatar, centuries old, and born at the beginning of time.  Personality: Thorn is VERY outspoken and outgoing. Thorn is VERY protective, like a mother to her pups, and will fight the defensive for what is hers. She's not afraid to try new things and whether she shows it or not she enjoys meeting new people. Thorn enjoys both keeping to herself and watching from a distance & being up close and in the action. She fights for her beliefs, her friends, her family, and for what is right. She is very stubborn & her attitude and way of life are just her own. Background: Thorn Loghan was born in a small country town where she lived till she was 21. They owned a small farm in the middle of nowhere where they had multiple horses, and plenty of room for crops. 3 1/2 weeks after she turned 21 Her family lost their house and had to move, On the road her & her family were attacked and while her mother and father were passed out [still alive as she thought] and her brothers and her sister faught desperatly she was taken. Her brothers, Caex & Shadow, had put up a good fight but were beaten and her other sister had the same fate. They layed unconcious while their sister was dragged away. Thorn had passed out from all that had happened. And had a rude awakening. She had spent months locked up in a room in a place she didn't know and hadn't a clue where she was. One day the male who had made sure she was still alive had come and before she could ask him what he was going to do to her he spoke of her "good qualities" and before she could speak she was out cold. When she awoke she felt her life had changed. The male sat across from her had told her of what had happened and what she now was. He had talked her into training with him, similar to how she had trained with her siblings, but only harder. Once she was strong enough and quick enough she killed the male, D as they called him, and set out to find her family. She spent over 20 years searching for her family only to find her parents had died 2 years after the attack and her brothers and sister had disappeared. She had followed her brother, Shadow's, trail till she found him a year later. It took her 4 more years before she could relocate her other 2 siblings. They joined up with a group of people like them. Her sister, Melody, had went off to adventure like she always dreamed promising to return. She helps all and is very trusting and open despite everything that has happened in her past. Yet at the same time, she is shy with a sad secret; mysterious. Background: Wolfsong's tale begins many years ago when the land was rich and belonged to the natives, a time before the white man ruled... The Okwaho (Wolf) Tribe was a group of men and women who practiced the art of shapeshifting. Their leader, an old female Powwaw by the name of Eyes Of Wolf, was kind, but firm and possessed countless magickal abilities. She would be known as a "witch" to the foreign settlers who eventually came and lived on the outskirts of the Tribe's territory. The two groups lived in peace for a time, but it was during one hot summer that a white man killed Eyes Of Wolf's son, Red Meadow and this caused rage to boil in her veins. All hell broke lose, but, of course, the Tribe could not win against gun powder when all they had were flimsy bows and arrows. Eyes Of Wolf, one of the last to survive, ordered her only daughter, Karonhisake (Searching Sky) to flee from the madness. And so, she did... It was many years later that Searching Sky decided to settle down and attempt to reproduce her once thriving species. However, the only eligible mates were actual, pure blood wolves. This made it increasingly difficult for her, but eventually, she gave birth to a healthy litter and raised them on her own, teaching them the ways of her Tribe and the many healing practices that her mother had passed down to her. Among this litter was a rebellious little fae by the name of Clovertail who, Searching Sky believed, was stronger and wiser than her siblings. Clovertail was more of a werewolf, were as her brothers and sisters were more wolf. The family lived in peace until Clovertail's 20th human birthday when she decided that she was ready to go out and bring forth a family of her own. Her mother warned her of the many trials and tribulations, all the things that could go wrong, but she left anyway... Wolfsong wasn't born into a pack like most and never knew her father, for he died a few days before she was born, protecting his pregnant mate from a bear. Wolfsong was raised by her mother, Clovertail, who taught her about healing; using herbs and energy, asking the God and Goddess for assistance, teaching her to be in touch with nature. However, Wolfsong was still just a pup when her mother was killed by a bear, the fae having tried desperately to protect her daughter but instead, was killed right before her eyes. Little Wolfsong became a loner then and moved around often, searching for someone who could help fill the emptiness in her chest. One day, she ran into another male without a home. His coat a strange silver, almost white and his eyes a piercing aqua. Silverclaw, a wolf who was also half vampire, became her mate. They were very close, their bond complicated and at the same time quite simple. They truly loved each other and existed in close to perfect harmony. Wolfsong had allowed him to drink her blood on occasion to ease his vampiric sufferings. His own family had been killed by a vampiress who had changed him and left him to struggle; he sought revenge and he found her one night. Wolfsong watched her mate's brutal murder, quivering behind a boulder as he had told her to stay away, to run, that it was his fight. Utterly devastated, she left herself for dead afterward. Being a typical pack member in the Nightshade pack, she has two sides: the side the pack sees, and the side that those close see. She can be a sweetheart one minute, then turn right around and make you feel horrible. Don't confuse her looks to be pure innocence. Background: Growing up among Lumine and her brother, Kota got a taste of what was expected of her early in life. She was a submissive wolf that did as she was directed. Going to school and dealing with Lumine on a daily basis made her fond of the woman; she saw more of her than her own father. And as her and Ren grew up, she noticed that her father and brother drifted far apart, it was odd to see them acting in such a way. Then Calla left Renier; she had no reason to hate the female for it, but no reason to think it was right either. Slowly it seemed like the life of a wolf, wasn't the life she herself wanted. To remain unseen and unheard until it was mating season or chow time; just didn't settle with her right at all. Lakota was known to be like her brother, flirty but fierce. Her ideals were pack life came before personal life, no matter what. She is in her last year of schooling, hoping to be free of the grip of education soon to join her pack more often.
