Name: Miu Yamamoto Nickname: Mi Age: 22 Apparent Age: Late teens, early twenties Gender: Female Orientation: Bi-curious Species: Wolf Bloodline: Pure Pack: Ambrosial Rank:Omega Element: Water Abilities: Manipulation of water, shifting from human to wolf form, and minor healing abilities Personality:
In one hand, Miu has a child-like persona; she can be stubborn and is very bubbly, and often tends to act younger than she is, brushing things off when something arises. Whenever her older brother scolds her for her dismissive behavior, she simply laughs and says that not everything in life should be taken seriously. On the other hand, Miu is exceedingly respectful to anyone older than her though her brother is sometimes an exception. When things need to be taken seriously she reacts with a maturity far beyond her years, often leaving others wondering if she's as carefree as she puts off to be. Background:
Miu was born in Nara, Japan, a small town, as second child to his mother and father; Izumi and Rikuto Yamamoto. Izumi had been hospitalized the last two months of the pregnancy, dying hours after Miu was born. Rikuto had already taken a break from his job to be with Suzu and Izumi while she was in the hospital, and after her death he left his job completely to be with Suzu and Miu. Miu spent the first four years of her life in and out of the hospital due to a poor immune system and was left under Suzu's watch and care when Rikuto started drinking alcohol to "cope" with the loss of Izumi. Rikuto spent his time at bars getting drunk or sleeping off his hangover at home instead of going back to work, leading to the rest of the villagers to talk about how his life was going downhill.
When Miu turned six, Suzu left her to go to school and do as she pleased, not paying much attention to her so that he could focus on his own studies to become a successful businessman like Rikuto had been. It was shortly after Suzu's fourteenth birthday when Rikuto passed away from alcohol poisoning, and it was barely a week after the funeral that Miu went to Suzu in an excited manner. When she had his attention she announced that she was a water elementalist like Izumi had been and showed Suzu how she could manipulate water. She had often watched Suzu practice his element and she had been told about her mother and father's elements, and she was glad that she could control water like their mother. Miu became confused when Suzu suddenly became angry with her and lashed out at her, causing her to run away. She hid in an old abandoned house, her back hurting from the burn mark Suzu had given her. Suzu came looking for her a few hours later and though he had scarred her back she forgave him for what he had done. It was after that incident that Suzu began to really pay attention to her and treated her like a sister.
The two continued to go to school and Suzu helped Miu control her element through sparring with each other every afternoon. Miu was eight when Suzu decided it was time for the two of them to move somewhere else, despite Miu's protests to stay where they were. They packed their things and left Nara, moving to Kawasaki so that Suzu could try to follow in Rikuto's footsteps and work for a big company. Miu enrolled in a new school while Suzu studied and worked. Things were going great; Miu had made a couple friends over time and Suzu was finally making his way up the business ladder, giving them both something to keep them busy.
It wasn't until Miu was thirteen that she began to show sign of being a shifter. Suzu knew he couldn't teach her anything in the city so he left his job and the two moved again. They settled down in Nagoya and Suzu spent the next year teaching Miu everything he could. When Miu was able to control her shifting, Suzu set down a few rules to keep them out of trouble; no shifting around others and no talking about being able to shift. The rules were simple and Miu agreed to follow them. While Miu finished her schooling, Suzu got a job working in the marketplace to help them get by, and it was shortly after Miu's nineteenth birthday, she obtained a secret admirer who began following her everywhere. Her admirer saw her shift one day and when Miu found out that he knew, she begged him to keep it a secret but he had already told his friends about her. Word spread quickly and the two's world was turned upsidedown. Suzu was fired from his job for being related to Miu and for being suspected of shifting as well, and they were shunned everywhere they went. Unable to handle being in Nagoya any longer, the two packed a bag each with their clothes and things most important to them and left Nagoya, deciding to travel for a while before settling down again.
It's been almost three years of traveling and they've recently stumbled across Ambrosial, deciding to stay and see if they could settle without having anymore problems. Name: Suzu Yamamoto Nickname: Nee-nee or Zu-Zu (both only used by Miu) Age: 29 Apparent Age: Early twenties Gender: Male Orientation: Straight Species: Wolf Bloodline: Pure Pack: Ambrosial Rank:Omega Element: Fire Abilities: Pyrokinetics and shifting from human to wolf form Personality:
Suzu is the complete opposite of his younger sister, Miu; serious about everything and always working. He's constantly yelling at Miu for her childish behavior and jokes, especially since he's often her target of choice. The only similarity between them is their respect for their elders. Background:
Suzu was born in Nara, Japan, a small town, as an only child to his mother and father; Izumi and Rikuto Yamamoto. His father worked for a prospering company and spent most of his time away from home to help expand the company, leaving Izumi and Suzu alone. Though Rikuto wasn't able to spend a lot of time with Suzu, he always made certain to get something from every place he went for Suzu. His mother loved Suzu and spoiled him in every way she could think of, treating him like a prince. Things were going great for little Suzu.
When Suzu was barely four years old he showed signs of being able to shift into a wolf as most of his family ancestors could, and shortly after began showing signs of being a fire elemental. With his mother being a water elemental and his father an earth elemental, there wasn't much they could do to help Suzu control his element so they hired a private trainer. By time Suzu was seven, he was almost to the top of his potentional and his mother was five months along with another child. Suzu was excited about having a yonger brother or sister, but two months before Izumi was due, she fell ill and stayed at the hospital. She gave birth to a girl whom she named Miu, but what was supposed to be a joyous day for the Yamamoto's quickly turned sour when Izumi died mere hours after the child birth. Rikuto had already taken a break from his job to be with Suzu and Izumi while she was in the hospital, and after her death he left his job completely to be with Suzu and Miu.
Suzu finished his training with his teacher a few months after his mother's death and though Suzu was just nearly eight years old he was left with the responsibility of taking care of Miu when Rikuto turned to alcohol to "cope" with the loss of Izumi. All the while, Suzu had come to hate Miu, blaming her for their mother's death and wanted nothing to do with her. Instead of going back to work, Rikuto spent his time at bars getting drunk or sleeping off his hangover at home. Miu was in and out of the hospital the first four years of her life due to a poor immune system, resulting in Suzu having to leave or miss school. Suzu couldn't go anywhere in town without hearing someone mentioning something about how Rikuto's life had gone downhill and how his own and Miu's would most likely follow. When Suzu got tired of hearing everyone talk badly about his family, he resorted to either wandering out of the village in his wolf form, not caring about what rules he broke, or staying in his room to study.
When Miu turned six, Suzu left her to go to school and do as she pleased, not paying much attention to her so that he could focus on his own studies to become a successful businessman like Rikuto had been. It was shortly after Suzu's fourteenth birthday when Rikuto passed away from alcohol poisoning, and it was barely a week after the funeral that Miu came to Suzu in an excited manner. When she had his attention she announced that she was a water elementalist like Izumi had been and showed Suzu how she could manipulate water. Angered that Miu had claimed to be like their mother, he went into a blind rage and lashed out at Miu, burning her with his fire. Frightened, Miu ran out of the house, and when Suzu had calmed down and realized what he had done, he felt ashamed that he had lost his temper. A few hours went by and Miu hadn't gone back to the house so Suzu went out looking for her. He found her in an old abandoned house crying and after apologizing to her for what he had done, brought her home. Though Miu was scarred for life by his actions she forgave him, and after that day Suzu began to pay attention to Miu and treated her more like a sister than a stranger.
The two continued to go to school and Suzu helped Miu control her element through sparring with each other every afternoon. It was when Suzu was sixteen that he decided it was time for the two of them to move somewhere else, much to Miu's protest. They packed their things and left Nara, moving to Kawasaki so that Suzu could try to follow in Rikuto's footsteps and work for a big company. Miu enrolled in a new school while Suzu studied and worked. Things were going great; Suzu was making his way up the business ladder and Miu had made a couple friends over time, giving them both something to keep them busy. There were times when Suzu would miss the freedom of being able to shift and run around but he was happy with his job and didn't want to leave.
It wasn't until Miu was thirteen that she began to show sign of being a shifter and knowing he couldn't teach her anything in the city, Suzu left his job and the two moved again. They settled down in Nagoya and Suzu spent the next year teaching Miu everything he could. Name:
Kiyoriko Nakamura Nickname:
Kiki Age:
Eighteen Apparent Age:
Late teens Gender:
Male Orientation:
Bi-curious Species:
Arctic Fox Bloodline:
Pure Pack:
Cur Rank:
Omega Element:
None Abilities:
Shifting from human to his arctic fox form, increased speed when in his arctic fox form Personality:
Kiyoriko has two different personas that he portays depending on who is around him. One of them is his caring side, the one who loves to make new friends, going out and having fun. He can be talkative and hyper or he can be quiet and an excellent listener. The other is his more devious side, the one that loves messing around with other people. No matter which persona Kiyoriko is displaying, though Kiyoriko is in fact a male, at a first glance one would assume him to be a female- especially since he's always wearing women's clothing- and he'll do nothing to correct them. In fact, he'll go along with it! He's a huge flirt which often plays in his favor when he's pretending to be a woman. Background:
Kiyoriko was born and raised in Ambrosial shortly after the fighting began. The first few years of his life wasn't easy, but he still had it made living with the Ambrosial pack. He was raised surrounded by the love of his parents and being an only child they tried to get him anything that made him happy. He was much like any little boy, always wanting to help the pack against the Cur's but was always told he was too little and that he had to wait until he was older. His parents would always talk about how they were better than the Cur's because they were all pure-bloods, and he believed them. After years of wanting to help the Ambrosial's, when Hiyoriko was close to the age of nine he grew tired of all the fighting and began to question why everyone was fighting in the first place. He had grown out of wanting to help fight the Cur's and spent most of his time trying to find something better to do.
Kiyoriko had always been a strange child, that his parents were certain of. Even as a young boy he had very feminine features, his favorite color was pink and as he grew older he became more and more interested in anything feminine. His parents had thought it was just a stage with him being an only child, but when he had asked if he could actually wear women's clothing, they didn't know what to do. They had always told him that they would accept him no matter how he was, but they hadn't expected him to take it to that extent. His parents told him to wait until he was a little older, hoping that he would outgrow his feminine side compltetely, but when Kiyoriko was fifteen he told them that he wanted to dress the way his mother did. In hopes of trying to make him more normal, they forbid him from doing such a thing. Angered and hurt, Kiyoriko left and didn't come back for a few days, worrying his parents. When he came back, his once completely blonde hair was blonde with pink, even styled in a different way, and he was wearing makeup and even a dress. His father refused to acknowledge Kiyoriko when he came back, and his mother, though she continued to love him as she always had, was ashamed of him. Kiyoriko could tell that his parents didn't like the "new" him, but he stuck around in hopes that they would get used to him.
The next few years were hard on Kiyoriko. His father had refused to say a word to him and could hardly stand to be in the same room as him. His mother spoke little to him and they never went places together. There were nights where he could hear his parents arguing about whose fault it was for him turning out the way he had, and it always stung him to know that no matter what he did his parents weren't going to accept him. Kiyoriko refused to change the way he was, though. He was happy to be himself, he just wished his parents could see it from his perspective.
A couple weeks before Kiyoriko turned eighteen, he tried to talk to his parents about the way he dressed. When they wouldn't listen, he gave them an altimatum: Accept him the way he was, or he would leave for good. His father refused to accept him, so on his eighteenth birthday he packed his bags to leave. His mother begged him to stay and for him to go back to the way he was when he was a kid, but Kiyoriko told her that he would never be able to do that and that if they couldn't see that then there was no point in him living with them any longer. When his mother asked him where he would go, he told her that he didn't know when in reality he had thought of the one place he could go; to live with the Cur's. He knew they would accept him for who he was. Besides, he knew the Cur's had bigger problems to worry about than a crossdressing male joining their ranks anyway.
Without saying goodbye to his father, he gave his mother a final hug before leaving his past behind, setting off to find the Cur's. Memories: Eye Color:
