Olivia
Okay so I finaly had Olivia. Was going to be on Friday like Misty and my doctor had thought but it was actualy on Saturday, lol so pretty close still. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be like actualy, haha.

I went to my prenatal check-up on Thursday but had alot of protien in my urine so my doctor told me to go to the hospital to get mroe urine and another blood test done because it'd be faster getting results in that way so we went and got to the hospital around 2:40pm and they came in and one of the ladies was like "we'll your going to stay and have a baby" because turned out I had preclamcia(sp?) and that I had to be induced so they admitted me in the room and I got all comfortable around 3:20pm. They put like a tiny tampon looking thing behind my cervix to help soften it up and after that (I was still 1cm when I had arrived) and after that I was 3cm so they then gave me two pills that they put in the same area once they removed the tampoon looking thing, and by 3-4pm Friday I was 5cm and stayed that way until around midnight on Friday when I jumped up to 8cm then 9cm shortly after and then 10cm by around 8:30-8:40 Saturday morning. And then I started pushing around 8:45 exactly and she was born at 9:09. I am real happy about it because I did it with no pain medication at all. At first I used some stadol (when I was 5cm) because the contractions were to strong to let me sleep and I was exhausted so I had that about 3x and then I had an epidural at 5cm aswell (when I realized the stadol only made me tired but didn't help the pain at all lol). The epidural didn't hurt at all. So thank god I didn't get the same guy you did Misty because you made it sound pretty painful hehe. So I had that in until I was 8cm then it went off on one side so they gave me some more which made the baby's heartbeat go down significantly and my blood pressure to go up pretty high so she had to turn it off, so from 8 1/2cm until she was born I had nothing which to me just means I had her naturaly lol, but I did have some doses of IV medication but didn't help the pain just to get me to sleep haha. Oh and my doctor broke my water sometime early on Friday evening. Not sure the time exactly but boy was that uncomfortable, haha. So she was born on my cousin's bday haha. Which makes her a May baby, not a June baby. Yay for green/emeralds, haha.

Not sure the head and length yet because the card they gave me with her information some cleaning lady threw away by mistake while I was sleeping and was cleaning out the room I was in and when they gave me another one, they didn't have all the information on it like the other one did but I'll know soon enough. (Update: Know the length but not the head.)

She has a heart condition though called transposition of the great arteries (TGA) and is going to need surgery. (Update: Her open heart surgery went great by the way.) And so did everything else they had to do to her.

I'm really happy with myself though because I was only pushing for under 20minutes with no pain relief and all the nurses and my own doctor said how they never saw that before with first time moms and because she was born with her head first so they thought that was pretty impressive of me so I feel pretty good. I didn't even know how I did it, lol. I kept saying how I couldn't do it, while she was coming out, lol it was crazy. The crowning did hurt like a bitch though, omg lol. If it weren't for that part it'd of been sooner than 20minutes, haha. It was hell the day I went into labor but really was worth it all. Actualy can't wait to experience it again.
