As I am already stuck in writing lots on here, lets get on with someting else, shall we?
This page is for not only a little fraction of the bands and musicians that I appreciate but also about the few that inspired me to lead my life the way I did until now and they always have a special place in my heart.
The first one was probably Freddy Mercury having grown up listening to Queen especially during car rides (thanks mum). The other early ones were Mozart for all his wonderful operas,Bizet for his strong willful Carmen and Vivaldi for alwahys lightening my mood no matter how bad the situation is.I actually still intend,if it should ever happen to use his Spring Allegro at my wedding lol.

Going to teenage years I'd probably have to follow up Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson. This is what got me started on metal and got me hooked for a long time.
My best Valentine ever was seeing Alice Cooper live for sure and Deep Purple on the same night!

Then 1998 an obsession started for me and 2 other friends: HIM made an appearance on the German music market.THeo nly thing known at the time was that their song 'Join me' (you can't find a better Romeo&Juliet song!) was part of the soundtrack for 'The 13th Floor' (very odd movie, watched it years later)
Fact is we were in love, with the song, the band, the singer. Others had Backstreet boys and spice girls, we had our Finnish Gods.My friends even got teaching books to learn suomi. At their first gig in Luxembourg,my friends managed to get a picture with Ville when going for an interview at a radio station. I was unfortunately stuck in Spain with my parents damning the whole world.
Two years later then I had the chance to see them live.(Got to love the old Lux. venues as they only fit a few hundreds)And so this kept going on,besides them spending more time in the States nowadays and me not appreciating Warner Bros to attempt to make tons of profit on merchandise.Oh and I almost forgot to mentino that I actually dated a guy who was not only a massive HIMfan (nothing unusual there) but he also looked very much like Ville (no I'm not that shallow that that was the only thing that mattered but it was a big plus ;) )
We had the most intense relationship and nothing will probably ever be able to replace that.It is a time that I cherish deeply but I also managed to move on.Ville's voice and his lyrics have gotten me through some though times and therefore I'll always be thankful for him, nevermind that he is some sort of genius ;) but yeah it's already 10 years since I fell in love with this band and I hope it will go on like that

Besides my basic obsession with Finnish bands,Apo,Entwine,Negative,69Eyes,Lovex...to only name a few,I also grew fond of some particular Rock bands such as Hinder, Shinedown, Down Below, Hardcore Superstar, Hed PE...

Antoher aspect of my music favourites would be Visual Kei,a Japanese youth culture based on appearance.First band I ever got into was Despairs' Ray, fabulous band and next was Kagerou who amazed me tremendously at their gig in Paris.Unfortunately they split up a few years later. Gradually I got to know Miyavi as well, Gackt and Mana.As for female artists only Kana really stands out for me.12012 and Kagrra followed, not to forget the Gazette. There's lots and lots more so if you are interested check them out!

And finally at the current stage, especially when it comes to going out Cyber Industrial and EBM have kind of taken over (generally I also enjoy going out to RnB and Latin American music). Combichrist being the most popular,NIN, Angelspit (one of the most creative) and Deathstars (although again maybe to be couted in with Rock.)
And there is also bands like Xavier Naidoo and Silbermond that I jsut love for existing, the songs they write and the great gigs they create. I have very high respect for bands that motivate people to get together to make a change but still can show you a good time as well ;)
This is pretty much the majority,I surely still forgot half of the bands that I cherish but will gradually add them if they spring to mind.
