Description:
Standing at about 5'9" with a slim build and dark brown hair that reaches well past her hips, she is an elegant woman with noble blood. Her eyes are like molten gold which turn silver when she uses her powers. She has a pentagram tattoo on her left shoulder, a symbol of the gift given to her by the Goddess Hecate (see background)

Background Story:
She was born to a French Lord and an Italian noblewoman in Picardy, France (though it wasn't called that until after her birth). Her father was aloof and mysterious while her mother was eccentric and sarcastic. They raised her to the best of their ability into a fine young woman... though emotionally stunted. While her father taught her his trade (which was kept as a heavily guarded secret for centuries) he also taught her the importance of masking her emotions before enemies. Medea's mother helped her with controlling her powers and the importance of remaining in a state of calm (as she was quite strong and her powers were dangerous if she let her emotions control her) to keep herself in check. As a result, Medea became a woman who was often seen as quiet, distant, and emotionless.

When she was young, she was blessed by the Goddess Hecate (who unlocked her powers that were hidden away) who had been wandering around the woods near her home in the guise of an elderly woman. Medea had offered her food and help out of the woods (as she claimed to be lost) and, as thanks to her kindness, gave her a silver pentagram necklace. When Medea had gone to bed that night she dreamed of the goddess and when she woke up she found that the necklace was gone. She later discovered that it had been absorbed into her body and a pentagram tattoo on her left shoulder had appeared. Since that day, her Psychic powers seemed to have strengthened and she taught herself how to control it.

Medea had such a strong control over her emotions and power that she was often seen as meek and weak to other nobles. She never unleashed her powers until she was alone in the woods near her parent's large mansion. After her 50th year she began to get restless. Medea was a curious creature with a hunger for knowledge and a thirst for adventure. So, soon after her 100th birthday, she left her parents to explore all of Europe, Asia, and Africa. Upon her return 200 years later, she came home to find her home in ruins and her parents murdered. Enraged, she chased down her parents killers and slaughtered them before fleeing to Italy before she could get caught.

She lived with her uncle for a while and learned from him that her parents had been discovered and the local town had hired a group of assassins to kill them. Her hold on her emotions and control over her powers had begun to loosen so her uncle, Nathaniel, took it upon himself to teach her control all over again. Now a bit lost and finding herself frustrated with her new emotions, she took to learning more about her uncle and his trade. He was a carpenter and toymaker in the small Italian town he lived in and she found she rather enjoyed making dolls for the children.

It took her 300 long years for her to finally move on from her parent's death and she returned to her life of wandering. For another 200 years, she avoided France like a plague not wanting to remember the pain of her parent's death. Finally, hearing a war was taking place in her own homeland, she returned. She was one of the many unnamed warriors who fought in the wars before disappearing again to look for someone who could teach her something of Necromancy (as she had found the subject fascinating). During that time, she acquired a companion by the name of Abel (who was a changeling). She had found him dying in a forest after being attacked by a group of bandits and used her new-found powers to seal his soul in a doll (a black and purple bat). He wasn't so grateful for that but she promised she would return him to normal once she learned how to recreate his body (as it had been beyond repair). He then decided to follow her on her travels.

Now she returns once more to her homeland...
