Zaknafien Adrestoi was born on a stormy night that was the 13th of January, 1320. His parents were the rulers of the Adrestoi Kingdom, Lord Entreri and Lady Meralda Adrestoi. He grew up under the iron fisted guidance of his father Lord Entreri, who was said to be one of the cruelist rulers in the Adrestoi Line. From an early age Zak was indoctrined on the fine art of ruling mercilessly, day after day he would be continuously exposed to his father's wrath. For as long as he could remember he had been enemies with the Daeva's, he became a general in the Army, and soon a warlord, becoming one of the most brutal fighters to come from an Adrestoi. Even before he'd joined the army, he was growing into the model son, a chip off his father's sadistic shoulder, twisted until the point of insanity. Yet somehow they never crossed that line and were definitely stronger for it. It was 1361, he had just the year previous been promoted to warlord of the army, he was 41 years old, and he was spearheading a violent battle against the Daeva's. As his men were cut down one by one around him, Zak took two lives for every one of his being dropped. After hours of intense fighting, the battle grinded to a halt by the words, "The Adrestoi ruler's have been defeated, but thusly so have the Daeva rulers." Zak couldn't believe his father had been defeated, as badly as he wanted to continue the battle, as heir to the the throne it was his responsibility to organize a retreat. He was crowned officially the day after. The blood feud between these two families runs very deep, they have been at violent war for about six and a half centuries. In that time Zak has not only surpassed his father's cruelty and mercilessness, but is the only ruler in Adrestoi history to also be the warlord of the army, he leads them into most major battles.

He is tall, and though he doesn't look it, contains the strength of a vampire twice is girth. His hair is long and black and his eyes are a piercing blue. He has a few scars on his face, and many more on his battle hardened body. He often carries his two short swords, Luger and Sonne, but when he's going to battle he has those plus his war sword, Drako. Obviously he doesn't wear armor all the time, he wears really gothic clothing, mostly all black with scarlet red sometimes. He has a black cloak, they say it is enchanted to aid in becoming invisible in the dark.
