Explain your username//To be completely honest, I don't remember the significance behind this particular handle. I've used the same one since I was twelve, and although I have tried different aliases, this is the only one that sticks.
Many people view me as a callous, malicious individual who cares about nothing more than internet infamy and tearing people down in hopes to boost my low self esteem; that could not be farther from the truth. I will admit, I can be rather rude at times, however there is always more to a person than what's on the surface. I consider myself multidimensional, especially when it comes to my personality. Now, in a million years I could never find the words that would tell you exactly who I am, however I hope to give you a small insight through this application.
I would consider myself a highly political person; not in the sense that I wrap myself in the lies of political propaganda, but in the sense that I am one outspoken individual when it comes to affairs of the world. There are far too many people who would rather remain silent for their own personal safety, however it is my belief that information is the greatest weapon when fighting the most dangerous terrorist we know; our government. There are more important things in life than a single individual, and I am no exception. I try not to get caught up in trivial manners of the world, yet I try not to allow my personal beliefs on the state of the world to interfere with my life to the point where I abandon all that I love. I try to find a balance between living and fighting an undeclared war.
Past the realm of political activism, I am a homemaker, dedicated wife, and caring friend. I find that while it may be difficult living for myself, I can find the strength to live for others. I enjoy helping others, sometimes for only the smile on their face. It's my belief that if I can positively change one person's life, even for a moment, then I have succeeded in giving some sort of meaning to my existence. I have never been an extremely selfish person, however I do have my moments, as everyone does.
I'm not really one to worry about my future. At 19, I still have no clue as to what I want to do with my life, and yet that doesn't terrify me (as it probably should). I figure with time, it will come to me. I (hopefully) still have a while left on this planet and I would much rather enjoy my time here than worry about what's to come. If I spent all of my time worrying, I'd never live.
While it's hard to not list a massive amount of things for either, I will try to limit myself the few that are most prominent. For the like side, I would have to choose my strength, passion, and loyalty. As for my dislikes, it would have to be my mental state, desire for perfection, and my expectations for others.
I've been through my fair share of trials in my life time, and yet I always seem to come out still intact. I've seen so many people collapse and completely fall apart because of some of the things that have occurred in their life, yet I can still manage to pull through. I guess I would say that I'm more thankful for being a strong person than anything. Mental strength isn't something that comes easily to many people, however having a drive that makes you want to stand and have your own identity instead of giving in is, in my opinion, one of the fundamental things to living.
I do believe that passion is something that has steadily become rare in life. I've witnessed many people who would rather float by never having a strong emotion in their life. While my passion can make me unbearable at times, it's something that is a necessity. If I weren't passionate, I don't believe that I could honestly be as open and blunt as I am. My passion for the truth and justice allows me to help inform others without the fear of possible out comes. A life without passion is no life at all, and I'm glad that I posses the ability to be exceptionally passionate, even if it drives me a little bit mad.
I cannot imagine being a flaky person. Infidelity, back stabbing, and trickery are things that do not appeal to me. While I'm not perfect, I do strive to never be someone who is willing to hurt or abandon those that they once loved (or said they did). I'm generally someone who will remain by someone's side even in their darkest hours, as I have before with my mother. I don't see how a person can just give up on someone unless they never cared about them in the first place. I'm proud to be known as a loyal person, and wouldn't ever change that.
I have never really been a completely mentally sound person. As much as I try, I can never seem to fully have peace of mind or mental stability. I try to work with my mentality, however it's exhausting to have to daily calm your mind. I refuse to take mind altering medication, but I also hope that I don't progress to a state where I can't function as a human. Granted, I probably wouldn't be the same person as I am today, but I'd just like a day off once in a while.
I have an issue with beating myself up far too much over silly little accidents. Sometimes, I allow my strive to better myself affect my world too much. Don't get me wrong, I believe that we should never stop trying to improve ourselves, however I sometimes allow myself to become overwhelmed by a trivial issue. It's something I'll have to work on to better myself, but I'll more than likely continue to beat myself up for letting it get to me so much.
I have always had an issue with accepting people as they are, and it is something that I work on. It seems that I expect more people to actually care about their world, to want to educate themselves, and to be truthful. While I view these things of importance, there are many who do not. My expectations can and have restricted my relationships with certain people. At some points, I actually wish that I didn't expect so much out of the human race, however most of the time I don't think that my expectations are too much.
I would greatly desire knowing whether or not I can bare children. The greatest gift in life is children; a single smile from a child can warm even the coldest of hearts. I would love to be blessed later on in life, however there's a possibility that I wont be able to conceive. I would really just like some peace of mind with it.
I would like to see a little more empathy in the world. As I progress in life, it seems as though less and less humans actually care about the welfare of their neighbor and do less for their fellow humans (unless it would directly benefit them). So often are we too caught up in the trivial matters of our own lives to even stop and look around. It would be nice if we could all get to the state where our fellow humans were an important aspect of our lives. Maybe then we'd care to help, even if it takes time away from watching the television.
There comes a point where we must ask ourselves, does censorship work? Well, it depends on what the purpose for the specific form of censorship is going for. While I don't believe that censoring programming will help "keep the morality of the population" censorship is a great method of control.
Let's face it, censoring programs for children doesn't do anything except delay the inevitable. The world is a vile place and the sooner children come to that realization, the safer they will be. Having them assume that all is well with the world (as they assume what they witness on television is an adequate expression of the real world), we're only putting them in more danger.
One aspect of censorship that not many people even realize is happening is the censorship of information. Everyday, the news that is placed before us is censored to show only what is wanted for you to believe is truth. The greatest way to control someone's mind is to control the information they are exposed to. By hiding the truth with a fluffed up version that's played over a thousand times, we can ensure that the vast majority will believe it. Sadly, people are too lazy to research anything for themselves while we still have the chance. It's only a matter of time that America joins the 13 countries who have censored the internet (Belarus, Burma, China, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam) instead of just making information harder to obtain.
It goes without saying, education is one of the fundamental things we need in order to live. If we didn't have the capability to gain knowledge from our actions, we would have surely died off long ago. One thing I wonder though, is why we assume that the only place to gain an education is in an institution.
When someone says the word education, the first thing to pop into our heads is school. We're almost taught to think that school is the only place where we can learn and that it's the most important thing you can do as a child. We generally abandon the notion that life itself is an educational experience and we look down upon those who choose to drop out of school. In reality, the vast majority of the population is able to get by on a fifth grade education.
To me, there's far greater things to learn than what can be taught within a building. However when we assume that we only need the skills and information taught in school, we loose a sense of who we are. School doesn't teach you compassion, trust, honesty, or any of the other things that make us good people. It also doesn't teach us how to think for ourselves. When we standardized education and based our curriculum on tests, we robbed our children the ability to think beyond the bounds of the typical; forever cursing us to blindly follow those who have authority.
I hate the idea of globalization. There are far more negatives to this becoming a reality than there are positives. While it may help a few countries out economically, it would severely fuck over the human race.
In the event of globalization, we would not only loose our cultures, but the entire world would be in control of a very selective few. Where would there be to go if shit hit the fan and they decided they didn't like you're way of thinking or thought you were a threat? No where. There would no longer be a way to escape oppression.
One major step for one global government would be to globalize the economy. Obviously, this wouldn't go over very well all at once, but there are ways for those in favor of this to coerce the people into willfully accepting a global dollar. You start on a smaller scale, doing it regionally (i.e. the Euro) and eventually work your way up. However if the people uproar about it (like they were when the Amero first leaked) simply crash the economy. After a while of suffering in a depression, you slyly introduce the regional dollar as something that would be far more stable than the current currency. The vast majority of people will be begging for the new currency. Eventually, when people become more accustom to having the regional money expand, you introduce a global currency and thus the need for a global government.
I think the thing that frightens and angers me the most is the fact that so many people are still blind to the fact that this is happening and refuse to open their eyes. Globalization of the government and the economy is a very real thing and we are in the process of being such. I can only hope that more people wake up and do something before it's too late.
I am in favor of an armed citizen. There are many reasons people own guns however the most popular ones would have to be for protection, for hunting, and for illegal activity. I don't think that poor choices of few should restrict the masses from a civil right.
People who purchase guns for protection aren't always using it for protection against a criminal. While in the city it may be the most prevalent reason, the entire world does not live in cities. Many farmers use guns to protect their livestock from being attack by wild animals. To remove guns from them would be to allow that occupation and life style to become extinct. They would have absolutely no way to ensure the safety of their animals.
There are also a select few who have their heads in the right place and own guns for the event of a revolution. Let's face it, the government will step on anyone and anything to push it's agenda and we need the people who are willing to stand up and fight to ensure our way of life and our freedoms. I would hate to see the day when these people who are willing to fight for the principles of the country are stripped of that ability.
Contrary to popular belief, we need people to hunt. It helps to keep the natural order of things in check, especially when we kill off an animals natural predator in protecting ourselves. If we didn't hunt, there would be many species becoming over populated then starving off. If we restricted guns, there wouldn't be nearly enough people hunting in order to prevent the animal kingdom from going into a famine.
While there are people who choose to use guns for criminal activity, banning guns would not make gun related crimes cease, rather they would increase. Those who use guns illegally obtain said guns illegally, and would continue to do so. It would only disarm the law abiding citizen, which is exactly what a criminal would want.
Yes, there are far too many gun related crimes and far too many people dying from those crimes; however outlawing guns would not remedy that, only worsen it. I do believe in some form of gun control, however not to the extent of removing them from the people who would need them.
It's a sad day for humanity when we choose to reduce ourselves to nothing more than pets. Contrary to popular belief, the RFID chip isn't only going to be used as a tracking device (which that alone no human should have planted within them); it's also used for medical records (one of it's current functions) and could easily hold financial and criminal records. When the chip becomes more commonly practiced, there will be no money, only the credit that is uploaded to your chip.
Now, some people don't see the dangers in such a chip. It is those people who will be responsible for our reliance upon it. The chip would eventually have all of your finances uploaded to it. The government would not only be able to monitor your behavior, but if you stepped out of line, they'd just turn off your chip, rendering you practically dead.
It's not only the government that makes the chips dangerous. Hackers could more easily obtain all of your records, making identity theft even more simple. With one false scan or from one computer, your entire life would be at the hands of a stranger.
While some people would like to argue that the chip would help to reduce or even eliminate the amount of abductions (since there would be a tracking device installed within it), that is not the case. When the chip becomes popular, do you honestly think that the attacker would not know where the chip is located? It would only result in more children being killed faster, or the attacker amputating the part of the body that contains the chip. It wouldn't help the victims, just hurt them even further.
Even after seven years, everyone is still up in arms about terrorists, yet they fail to realize two major terrorist groups; the government and religion. Terrorism is (or at least was) defined as instilling fear in others with threats or violence in hopes to push a political agenda. There are many ways that the government and religion alike use fear in order for us to submit our will to them and remove ourselves from our basic instinct, furthering our separation from nature.
Now, you might ask, how would religion be considered a terrorist group when they spread hope and peace? Well, you also have to look at the other side of the coin. What else do most religions of the world teach; that if you don't believe this religion or do anything that is "unholy", you're going to suffer for eternity. Most religious laws are those that go against our nature as human beings. By using that ploy of an eternal suffrage, they convince some individuals to abandon their baser instincts. That sounds like some agenda-pushing terrorism to me.
It should be quite obvious how the government is a terrorist organization. They seem to constantly be using the tactic of making the population believe that there is a group of people out to get us. Now, either they're all paranoid schizophrenics, or it's a very well thought out stratagem to cause the masses to panic so they can push their agenda; I'm putting my money on the latter.
It's also quite apparent that they use terrorism in some of the anti-terrorism acts. Section 899F of HR 1955 (also known as Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act) uses the threat of being labeled a terrorist if you disagree (and express that disagreement) with the government's agenda. Even with how contradictory this is, most American citizens don't realize how terrible it is for our future. We no longer have the right to be revolutionist, we're all now terrorist.
My point in all of this is to show that terrorism isn't hiding out in caves or half way across the globe. Terrorism is everywhere and is commonly found within the very institutions we hold dear. There is no hidden enemy that threatens our freedom. The greatest threat to our way of life is ourselves.
One thing that is ever prevalent in our society is the over diagnosis and prescribing of medications that alter one's mind. There's plenty of people who don't see the harm in this, however they obviously did not do any research, or at least take a second to think, about what altering one's mind can do. It's all "trial and error" with every person and every medication. There's absolutely no solid proof that the medications work or at least don't make the condition worse. How can someone willful prescribe something that could potentially lead to their demise and have no beneficial aspect at all?
One word; money. Now, not all people in the medical field are after money, however the pharmaceutical companies are (after all, it is an industry). By having no real evidence that a certain medication will work for the vast majority of people, they're able to make money by practically forcing doctors to do trial and error methods of prescribing. Many people who are on mind altering medications are on more than one, making even more money for the industry. If the medication only makes the condition worse, the better. After all, the remedy for that is more medication.
Even if the medication helps a person, it only relieves the symptoms of the condition, it doesn't actually cure a person. That leaves them hooked for the rest of their lives in order for some stability (even though the drugs probably played a major role in their condition becoming unmanageable).
Now, this is not to say medication doesn't help some people. There are a select few who do need it, however the vast majority of the public don't. Yet we're all looking for the easy way out of our problems and refuse to try anything the hard way. That's the main reason why this industry flourishes the way it does. People need to start relying on themselves and not on medication alone.
Choose a staff member and state an opinion on them based on the information on their profile//I choose Mike. It's is obvious that he is a strong person, and doesn't wallow in his misery, like most people his age. He's an honest and caring individual who doesn't look down on people for their problems. He's always been one to give everyone a chance, which is very admirable. He can be stubborn at times, however he doesn't allow his beliefs to interfere with his friendships.
I especially like that he doesn't deny the fact that no one can ever be truly one of a kind, however no one is a carbon copy of another person either. It shows me that he can think and has knowledge beyond that of a typical teenager.
Mike is one person who never ceases to amaze me. He's kind, compassionate, intelligent, and level headed; even through some of his darker times. I'm honored that I have the privilege to get to know him, and I hope that I can get to know him more.
Why do you want in//One very attractive aspect of this cult is that there are no game threads, and there will be no game threads. Far too often do I find myself applying to cults that are riddled with nothing but the mindless spam that is games. I would much rather interact with people and have meaningful conversations and debates. I know this is the community for that.
Also, I have yet to see another cult that is ran in a democratic fashion. As a human, I love to believe that my opinion and voice actually matter. Considering that this cult votes on every change, no matter how trivial it may seem, shows me that the group opinion is more important than that of the owner alone. It's great to find a place where the owner doesn't abuse power and run it like a dictatorship.
Were you invited, if so by whom//No, I was not.
What makes you a Toxic Doll//I would have to say that my willingness to further my education paired with my activism and passion makes me a toxic doll. I'm not the type of person that you meet and they don't have a lasting impact on you. I'm always willing to share my opinions and beliefs, yet I'm willing to allow people to have their own (as long as it's educated). I'm unquestionably intelligent, yet am not afraid to admit my short comings. I'm a real person, with a very real personality, in a world that's filled with fakes and I'm not willing to give that up.
Anything else//Please do realize, you do not have to do nearly as much HTML for your application as what is shown here. This is not an HTML cult; great HTML will not increase your chances of being accepted. We like applications that have substance and detail, not just great coding so they look pretty.
