Made by GoreyFashionFaggot Selling Displaying your Items The better your photos look, the more intrigued your potential buyers will be. Using webcams or picture phones is usually not a good idea. The buyer will want to clearly see the item they are purchasing. For better quality photos, try taking them in natural light. Even with a low quality camera, this can make your photos look 100 times better. If you want to take a close up shot, do so on the macro setting. This setting shows a picture of a flower, like the one displayed below. ![]() While your displaying your photos you should also consider their sizes. If you have a lot of large images, its going to take a very long time to load the page, especially for members using dial up. You can easily resize your photos with paint. To do this open up the paint program (comes with any standard computer, usually in the accesories folder). Go to file, open your photo you wish to resize. Then on the toolbar go to image, then click on Stretch/Skew or Resize/Skew. You should then see this window: ![]() Under the Resize area (or Stretch) put in the percents for Horizontal and Vertical that you want your image to be. Press OK and you've succesfully resized your image. Your Item Descriptions When selling anything you should always include the following information. These are standard things that any buyer will want to know, so its good to have it already written at the top of your selling thread. Other things that should be included within your individual item descriptions are: Having all of this information ready for your buyers will make quicker and easier sales. Pricing Your Items When you are pricing your items, take into consideration the retail price of the item (original buying price) and whether ot not is new or used. If the item is used there should be a significant drop in price from the retail price. If the item is damaged at all, this price should go down even farther. If you have no idea what to price your item you can always write "Taking Offers" in your description, which will allow buyers to offer you a price for the item, in which you would accept or reject. Buying Before you Purchase Anything We recommend that our members get PayPal because it's a much more secure and not to mention, instant, way to buy things from people all over the world. Your money will be tranferred directly from you to the person you're buying from; no third parties like the post office will be involved. This way you dont have to worry about anything getting lost in the mail, or anything like that. You can attach your paypal account to either a savings/banking account, or a credit/debit card of your choice. It makes shopping online much safer and faster. When you find something you would like to buy from a seller, be sure to check out their feedback within our Feedback Site. All of the seller names are in alphabetical order so it should be easy to find your seller. If your seller's name is not in the feedback site, there has been no feedback left for them. In this case you may want to ask them if they have feedback anywhere else they could show you. If for some reason you feel they are not 100% truthful or trustworthy and they have no positive feedback, it may be better to take your buisness else where, especially if it is an expensive item you are looking at buying. After you Recieve your Item(s) After you recieve any items of clothing, be sure to wash them all before wearing. Even if your seller has told you the item has been washed, it's always a good idea to take extra precautions. Then leave feedback for the seller within our feedback site so that other shoppers know whether or not its safe to buy from them. If your Item(s) never Arrive If you do not recieve the item(s) you have purchased, first try to contact the seller about the issue. If the seller does not do anything about the issue then leave them negative feedback within the feedback site. If you purchased the item with paypal, you may also file a dispute through the paypal website. FAQ How can i become a Seller?
