Handsome and charismatic, some have mistaken him for a Lamia in the past due to his striking appearance, however that is a degree of power he simply cannot claim. Background: Darren comes from a wealthy Italian family who has a lot of power in both the gambling and 'adult' industries in Las Vegas, Nevada and has the air of a businessman about him. His family is well connected with a number of other families of questionable legality, which form about all that is left of what could still be called the 'Mafia', however that does not help him, being that they know him to be dead. The only benefit he can claim from his birthright is that of a fat wallet and significant savings, which is a significant benefit for one who enjoys helping others as much as he does. Anything else Darren has trained very hard in the martial arts for the last few centuries with the increasing presence of hunters and humans who believe in vampires.
