Unknown. She came into existence a couple decades after the beginning of time.
Ashildr stands at about 5'9" and has a healthy, sturdy frame. Her white blond hair comes down to her waist, though she generally wears it pulled back somehow. She never slouches and generally wears dresses of some kind, medieval being her favorite. Her eyes are a light, misty green.
Ashildr can be very prideful and demands respect, as any God does. If this respect is not given, she tends to get very angry and destructive. Though she may complain at times about what she has to do, she is very serious about her status and duties.
She is rather mischievous and sometimes perceived as childish. When she's in a good mood she's known to be fair and understanding. She has a short temper though, and when annoyed or upset, she can be ruthless and cruel.
She is a master of disguises, and if it means getting something she wants, she can be the sweetest, most lady like woman anyone could meet. No man has ever been in her bed, and she prefers it that way, saying no man has been worth her yet.
Ashildr, as far as she is aware, was the first child to be brought into existence. Her mother did not survive long enough after passing the trial of the Gods, and instead the power designated for her was given to Ashildr. Her father, heartbroken, vowed to raise Ash to be the be best she could be. This is probably one of the few reasons she possesses some compassion.
Ash had been a daddy's girl through and through, and though she wasn't exactly spoiled, she did get what she wanted most of the time. It was generally never outright given to her, and that's how she learned to have such great bargaining skills today. She was normally on good terms with the other Gods and Goddesses at that time and received beautiful gifts from them all on her birthdays. Though she was no angel, she was treated like a princess at times.
Amazingly, Ash didn't let this go to her head as much as people thought it would. Though she demanded respect and courtesy from everyone as she grew older, she still had a sensible head on her shoulder. Once she turned twenty and one, her godship was matured and she was officially a complete Goddess. She was given the realm of Hell and was introduced to the superior God, Danube. She was wary of him at first, forming the expected dislike for her polar opposite.
After discussing and coming to certain agreements, Ash was sent to her realm. What she didn't know, however, was that she was on her own from now on. Her realm was in a different galaxy than her home, and since this was given to her as a special gift, she could not refuse. After a tearful goodbye, Ash set herself to exploring her realm. She had been given no prior instruction or details, and therefor was completely clueless on what to do or expect.
The last thing Ashildr expected though, was to be overwhelmed by souls and their memories. After leaving the protection of her provided chambers, they had flocked to her, almost overtaking her. Even though she was a Goddess, this sudden overload of information and power had consumed her, and she was not heard from for over a week. At the end of this week, she was able to start moving around of her own accord.
The first thing Ash did once she regained control was create a type of holding cell for the souls. This became known as the lake of the dead, or later, the River Styx. She created a ferryman, Charon, and he was in charge of leading the souls from the rivers shore, deeper into her realm. Souls were lead to a certain while living beings, later established, were sent to her chambers. She decided to sort the souls by their sins and established what later became know as the 9 levels of hell.
After Ash was restored and had complete control of her realm, she decided to explore the world outside her realm. She discovered she had missed the initial introduction to Gaia, but it was of little consequence to her. She decided to make different bolt holes and secret ways into her realm, but they were only visible when she wished them to be. She used them for various reasons, but usually to cause mischief.
Many natural disasters, usually volcanic eruptions, were caused by Ash when she was either angry or airing out her realm. She had almost wiped out an entire continent once if it had not been for Danube. Though they were supposed to be natural enemies, Ashildr could not help but take a liking to the man. Eventually, as their friendship progressed, he became one of the only people she would ever listen to. She indulged him in her secrets, her past, and he was the only one she allowed to touch her or call her Ash.
