An Eternity of BeginningShe saw pillars that reached far up into a ceiling that she couldn’t even see, walls with designs on them, but no windows, and at the throne, there was a person sitting there. The two cauldrons, or what she thought were cauldrons, were lit with blue flames. She looked to see of where Tavarius had disappeared to, but she saw him right next to the person on the throne. The person said, “You have done well, Tavarius. I’ll fulfill my end of the bargain after I’ve given the girl a chance to say goodbye to her counterpart. Go now.” Tavarius then turned and walked past her, leaving the throne room. The only people that were in there now was her and the mysterious person that was shrouded in darkness. She felt like running, but rethought the idea when she heard him say, “Come here.” She could tell by his voice that he was not one that you’d want to piss of, so she walked near him, but not too close as to catch her off guard. He all of a sudden stood up, and got off of the throne. She became really frightened, but she was ready for anything, but she started to wonder why he reminded her of someone. He could feel that she was slowly recognizing him, so he real fast asked, “Who am I?” She looked at his features, and thought to herself, ‘Who would want to wear a trench coat with red lining, and have long black hair?’ It dawned on her the instant she thought about it, and she dropped to the floor. He walked up to her, now inches from her, and asked, “Who am I? If you guess correctly, I might give you something special.” She was speechless for a moment, but then was able to get the word out of her mouth. She said, “Cain.” He kneeled down to her, lifted her chin, kissed her, then said, “Correct.” He stood back up, and started to walk away. He realized that she was still in complete shock, so he went back to her and said, “Come with me.” And he grabbed her hand and pulled her along, but not hard enough to hurt her. He led her to a room that was dark and said, “Wait here. I shall return.” He walked out of the room after that. Brandy wanted to know of where she was this time, and she flipped on a switch to see. She saw that it was a bedroom with gothic stuff everywhere. She noticed something had moved on the bed, and when she went to see what it was, she wanted to kill it. It was her friend, and she asked him, “What the hell did you do?!” He replied, “Only what you wanted, Brandy. I think you’d give me a little more compassion for having him find you...the person you’ve longed to see.” She went to hit him, but she couldn’t, because she knew he was right. She wanted this opportunity to happen, and now that it was happening, why was she complaining, but she said to him, “I’m going to kill you.” He replied, “You can do that, but I think he’d be mad at you.” She froze in her tracks, not wanting to turn around, but she did anyways, and she regretted it. She saw Cain in nothing but a pair of silk pants. He looked over to her friend as he said, “Is that all you need?” Cain walked over towards him, whispered something into her friends’ ear, and her friend understood. He then reached over, grabbing a box, then handed it to Cain. Cain then said, “That will be all for now. You may leave now.” Her friend just went up to her, embraced her, and whispered in her ear before running off, “Have fun.” She wanted to run after him and beat him senseless, but she stopped when she heard Cain say, “Don’t worry about him, we have unfinished business to deal with.” She turned around real fast and felt a chill go down her spine. She saw him put the gift down on one of the tables that was in the room, and he said to her, “Get on the bed.” She was afraid to, but she was more afraid of what would happen to her if she didn’t listen to him.(me: Since he is powerful, she didn’t specifically know what the hell he wanted to do to her, frightening her, even though she wanted to see him, just to clear it all up.) He went over and closed the door that her friend had just left out of, and he locked it. He walked over and got onto the bed with her. When he sensed that she was afraid, he pointed to the box, telling her to open it. She did, and she about fainted. He gently touched his hand on her cheek and said to her, “Why would I want to hurt my eternal mate?” She was completely speechless. She saw that it was the exact replica of his necklace, but it had her name engraved on it(me: the necklace in my story really means the equivalent of a engagement/wedding ring). She started to shed tears, but he wiped them away and said to her, “So I take it that you’re happy?” She nodded, and she embraced him. He said to her, “Well, I said that I might give you something if you guessed my name on the first try, and since you have, I’ll give you a treat. I don’t think that you’ll refuse me, will you?” She shook her head, and he said to her, “From now on, you’re mine.” |
