Seriously, why the fuck do people come at me with this kind of shit?
*****
I replied to this, but he must have deleted my reply since I am now unable to find it in my outbox. However, I remember telling him that normally Karley would have posted a staff application, but since she already had me in mind for a position and I've been sharing information freely that she must have wanted to eliminate the task of having to go through a long process to reach a simple goal. I also mentioned to him that there are a lot of people in the cult who simply like to argue for the sake of argument, and whilst I thought his "friend" had probably made some mistakes with her dietary transition and could have done better by visiting a nutritionist for proper advice during such, the fact that she made another choice and decided to go public in such a forum with it was a simple case of her opening herself up for public attack and criticism since it is indeed a mainly vegetarian forum. I also told him to stop taking the internet so seriously because, well... It's the fucking internet.
And so I found this in response to that:

to which I replied:

Oh, dramarama...
*sigh*
I'm not going to get into this debate with you or anyone else because I feel that it's stupid and pointless. However, I do wish that you had done some homework in relation to my background (some of which is supplied on my page) before you decided to come at me with your entirely unprovoked rant which actually came across as something resembling a personal attack...
Just to let you know, I happen to be privately as well as university educated in health, nutrition and fitness. I have been certified and worked professionally as a nutritionist/personal trainer and have been vegan for 16 years with NO issue whatsoever. I literally never get sick. In fact, I'm actually experiencing what is commonly known as "superhealth" (reference "David Wolfe" or "Matt Monarch") since having transitioned to a 100% raw diet, which means that I generally heal within 24 to 48 hours if I happen to end up getting cut or anything like that, no stitches necessary. I've had breaks which have healed perfectly without being set, I don't have cavities in my mouth and I often go for days without sleeping whilst still functioning quite normally (not recommended).
I also have very close friends who are lifelong vegetarians/vegans as well and they have experienced no negative effects on their health either, some of these people being in their mid to late 70s. Pretty impressive, no? Lest we forget the cultures existing in other parts of the world who have existed in good health on vegetarian diets for many, many generations. Are they wrong too?
I'm sorry for your friend if she went about her lifestyle change the wrong way, but if she were to have consulted someone who knew what they were doing she may have fared a bit better and been able to exist both happily and healthily on a vegetarian or even vegan diet.
Also, if you consult with anyone on the PCRM board (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine), you will find that they not only advocate a vegan diet, but they also provide some insight on how to make it work in relation to everyday life. Responsible (aka "non-corporate funded") doctors throughout the ages have been trying to explain this to people, but the industrial age gave power in government to the corporations and factory farmed propaganda has been pushing the "there are essential proteins found in meat" line of "reasoning" for over 60 years.
I'm not interested in propaganda from either side, and I don't care what the majority of vegans have to say (since most of the ones I meet are lazy junk-eaters anyway). I'm interested in scientific and historical fact, and most recently biblical as well (did you know that the book of Genesis offers full instruction for a human being's dietary intake? Did you know that the consumption of non-human flesh was only recommended in the case of an emergency--40 days of flooding, all vegetation killed, nothing else to eat--for the purpose of survival only?).
I'm also not interested in appearing to be ethically superior or "holier than thou" and don't normally bother to get into these discussions with anyone for a couple of reasons: 1. I don't consider myself to be "vegan" per se since my diet differs so much from the majority who wear that label, and 2. It's not my job to sit around and flash my background, education or useless stores of information to anyone and everyone, especially since this knowledge is quite available to anyone and does not make me special in any way for having been able to gather it when it was simply there for the taking. However, when you come at me with that sort of ridiculous, undocumented, illogical and reason-deficient tirade (all the while suggesting that I go to yet another who has failed in their first attempt at a lifestyle change without supervision--which is by no means new) it annoys me to the point where I feel the need to set a few things straight.
If you want to debate about this sort of shit, that cult is the place to do it with loads of kids who have the time for such things on a regular basis. I simply don't have the time to deal with stuff like this, not in cults and especially not coming directly into my inbox on a site where I'm getting enquiries regarding my work or the artists I promote online (which is my main purpose for using the internet aside from the research I do).
The only reason I ever asked you if you were vegan is because of your gluten intolerance, since I run a small cult for people who adhere to "alternative" diets due to various reasons (including dietary limitations such as gluten sensitivity and Celiac disease). We exchange recipes, information and advice based on knowledge and personal experience, and there's no debating about any of the stupid shit people like to run on about in VVK. I would have invited you in, but the co-owner and I decided to keep it limited to vegans simply to avoid drama and complications (and also to keep it very small). This is why I run 2 very peaceful vegan cults, for the sake of avoiding drama and stupid debates. I'm not interested in discussing why I live a certain lifestyle, but rather HOW I do it and what works well for me in case I can help others to find comfort in their own along the way.
This will be the last time I spend this amount of time on a letter such as this. I hope you've taken it for what it is instead of what you seem to fear being offered by those in the cult you opted to flee. My letter is by no means a personal attack and was never intended to be so, and I expect no such thing in return.

And so then I received the following:
*****
WTF?
And so I replied with the following before blocking them both from contacting me directly:
Darkfreaks seems to enjoy shitstirring and creating drama on the internet. I can also see that he enjoys selectively spreading information at will, which does nobody any good when things are taken out of context and the sort of message I've received from you is a result.
What he failed to tell you about my reply to his mentioning you is that I also said that I'm not a veganism activist, a representative of the cult he opted to flee, nor am I interested in contacting you, hearing from you or learning about your situation because it is not relevant to me and I simply do not care. I mean it as no disrespect to your situation, but your lifestyle choice and decisions related to such are not of my concern and if you are not paying me for advice I simply prefer to direct my attention elsewhere. I mentioned PCRM as a viable resource for information, if you're not interested in alternative options it's your decision and fate will take it's course as normal.
Your life = your decisions = Not my business.
I also asked him to kindly avoid filling my inbox with personal internet drama, and now I ask the same of you.
If you two are bored and looking for debate or sympathy, you can find many who have time and patience for such in VVK. It is obvious that you two have issues with other members there, but I am in no way a representative of that cult nor it's members when it comes to your dealings with them in relation to your life.
Furthermore, I shall consider any further contact of this nature to be a personal attack and it shall be noted as such. You will receive no more audience with me regarding such, nor any additional response.
Good night, and good luck to you in resolving your issues.
