Others: Marianne Faithfull should be Queen of England. I love her voice, both the old and the new styles. I've watched a lot of interviews with her, listened to most of her music, watched 'Girl On A Motorbike (Naked Under Leather)', and all I have left really is to read her book. People who start conversations with me about her go straight into my good books. 'Lilja 4-Ever' and 'Christiane F' are the best films ever made. That's not my opinion, it's fact. I've loved them both ever since I first saw them and I've watched them more times than I can count. They make films like 'Requiem For A Dream' look mild and tame. Cross-dressers fascinate me. Not drag queens, camp people, or anyone who's just a complete charicature, but I respect people who show total disregard for social norms and gender boundaries and just dress the way they want, or people who wish they had been born the opposite sex and do everything they can to make up for it. Sometimes I like to spill my mind out all over a blank page, and then screw that page up and set fire to it. |
