24 random facts about me.

1. I've spent more time sitting in an aeroplane or a boat then I have ever spent in a car.
2. I binge on songs. My most played song is Dark Blue by Jack's Mannequin. I've played it over 500 times.
3. I learnt piano from when I was like five till when I was eighteen.
4. I am often decisively indecisive.
5. I can be a bit of an enigma, even to myself. Other times I'm just difficult.
6. I must have caught a travel bug, and travel a LOT. I've done three continents in as many days.
7. I currently live in the United Kingdom, in a city called Coventry. It can be boring but it has its quirky charms.
8. I have a Masters degree and am now Not Very Qualified (NVQ) in Management. :D
9. I'm creative. I can do very random things with music/photo/videoediting software.
10. I listen to all kinds of music. Most probably fall under mainstream alternative, but some particular loves are punk gone acoustic and piano-driven rock.
11. I took a shocking amount of driving lessons, and finally passed this April – but have never driven since.
12. There are people who want to change things, and people who are good at keeping things the way they are. I most definitely fall in the former category and will try and make everything the way I want it.
13. I was always a bit of an activist; my Halloween costume as a kid was a radioactive ghost campaigning against nuclear testing.
14. Politically, I'm somewhat centre-left. Economically, I support a mixed economy where governments play a key role in providing universal services in cases of market failure. Socially, I'd identify with Obama, seeking socially progressive solutions to social problems, but seeing the causes as a conservative would, in terms of the breakdown in traditional values.
15. I'm Christian - Catholic. I'm serious about it, but I'm also very much open minded and don't really understand zealots/extremists either way.
16. Talking about open-minded, I'm usually up to try (most) new things. Different, unusual or exotic foods being one of them.
17. The place where I watch the most TV are hotel rooms. At home, I tend to watch TV shows on the internet.
18. I'm not particularly good at watching scary movies. Typically I hide. xD
19. I am constantly surprised people cannot tell the difference between "affect" and "effect"; and also to North America: It is MATHS not MATH. xDDD
20. I spend a rather significant amount of time on the internet. I'll probably get withdrawal symptoms if someone tries to take away things like Google, MSN, Wikipedia and YouTube.
21. My disposable income typically gets spent on shiny gadgets with a Apple logo on them. xD
22. I'm single and am ambivalent about it. I LOVE the freedom (in the sense I can make decisions about anything without running them through a significant other), but other times I do I wish I was in one (if I found the right girl so that my freedom was worth trading). xD
23. I can speak and understand English and Chinese. My English is better than my Chinese though.
24. Yes, I can be incredibly random.
