| How do I tell you about Raven and the two months since I have met her? How can I describe the joy, the happiness that she has brought to my life? First let me tell you a little about my life I’m the third child of a family of four children. I have an older brother of two yrs, an older sister of one year, and a younger brother of two years. My mother is full-blooded German and the strongest person I know. My dad is part Irish and part Polish and a very violent alcoholic so I try to stay as far from him as possible. It keeps the beatings I receive down to a minimal when I do. It was one of the only good reasons about moving, nobody knew the ‘Family Secret’. Now let me describe the first moment I saw Raven. I was sitting outside the apartment complex that my folks and I had moved to just a few days earlier, when I looked down the street to see somebody walking toward me. At first, all I could see was somebody dressed in black but as they got closer I could make out some distinguishing attributes. For one it was a she, she had long dark hair with a dark red stripe of three or four inches, down the left side, with black lipstick and eye shadow, but what really caught my attention were the black mini skirt and her long pale legs (I love well developed legs on a girl). For a top she had on a black see-through shirt with a red bra underneath. I couldn’t help but stare as she walked closer and closer. I guess that’s what is meant by “The Gothic Look” I’ve herd about but in my former small town it’s never seen but on Halloween. She looked so different from any of the other girls I had known, from that little country town I moved from. All I could think of was “I got to know more about this girl, and just hopefully meet her.” I watched her walk by and out of my life or so I thought. The next day was my first day of school and normally I really don’t mind going to school, but being a new student plus it being my first day really Sucks Big Time. You walk around the halls with this stupid look on your face trying to find your classes and trying not to look like a total jerk doing it. When you walk into each of your classes the other students look at you and decide everything about you in that first glance. I felt that when they looked up and noticed me, they marked me down as unworthy to be in their presence. Not that I think of myself as anything special, I wasn’t figuring on making to many friends anyway. I’m not the kind of person that has to have a lot of friends, just three or four close friends’ suites me just fine. All day I kept an eye out for that gothic beauty I say the day before. At noon I walked around paying special attention to any gothic group I saw to see if she might not be there but had no luck. By the end of the day the only person I knew at school was a guy named Kurt who lived below me. He’s not exactly what I really was looking for in a close friend, for one thing he’s three years younger and we don’t have anything in common. So far he seems kind of cool and I like him as a friend, just not somebody I can talk to about anything of real importance. Yet surprisingly it was Kurt that gave me my first break. On the way home from school I ran into him, when I described the girl to him right away he knew who I was talking about….”She’s called Raven; I’m not sure what her real name is though.” RAVEN I thought to myself, that fit her perfectly so dark yet beautiful….. “So where does she live and hang out?...is she single?”….I blurted out at him? | LIKES: Anime: Trinity Blood, Bleach.
