About Me
Lauren Krothe's powerful and unique songs, which she describes as "classically inspired gypsy ballads," have begun turning heads throughout the underground music community. Her piano-driven sound and fearless delivery are reminiscent of such cutting edge performers as Kate Bush, Amanda Palmer and (1990s-era) Tori Amos. Lend her your ear for just a moment and you'll find you've fallen under her spell.

Lauren has written over 80 songs, and her previous albums include tortured love songs (1998), soul orbit (2000), this i know (2006), have yourself a merry little christmas (2008) and i'm not afraid of the dark (2009). She is currently working on a full-length album that will be released in fall of 2012.

Also a member of internationally renowned industrial rock group Panzer AG (side project of Combichrist and Icon of Coil frontman Andy LaPlegua), Lauren’s backing vocals are featured on several tracks of their latest Metropolis Records release, Your World Is Burning, as well as the track “Gateway” on the Accession Records Vol. 3 compilation. She provides live keyboards and backing vocals for the band and has headlined shows with Panzer AG in Atlanta, Nashville, New York City, Edinburgh, London, Köln and the 2010 Gothic Cruise.

Other noteworthy collaborations: Aesthetic Perfection (piano for "All Beauty Destroyed") Aperture Burn (vocals for "New Sight") Uberbyte (vocals for "Summertime") The Synthetic Dream Foundation (vocals for "Forevermore") Libertine (vocals for "Wasted Youth")

Influences
Romantic era art, music and literature, mythology, the supernatural, the moon, mysticism, water, beauty, horror, love, lust, pain, grief, anxiety, strength, unyielding spirit, whiskey & laughter in abundance

I absolutely love the video Lauren. Should you read this let me know about some live dates. I am not so far from Birmingham, or do you ever play in Huntsville?
