Hey, I'm John. I come off as someone who is really serious and quiet, which I am, to an extent, but while the quite part may extend to my friends, the serious part eventually breaks down. I am a huge fan on novelist Hubert Selby Jr and Hunter S. Thompson. My favorite film makers are Stanly Kubrick, who has convinced to me that there is a god since only god can make A Clockwork Orange; and Christopher Nolan, whose films are nothing but a mind-fuck, in a good way. Photography, that right there is my life. That is what holds me to this world. This art form is what I was meant to do in life and nothing else can accomplish that purpose. But when I say photography, I mean that I work with film, none of that digital stuff. Other than that: Films, good films, not ones that are just explosions for two hours; classic music like The Cure, Camel menthol wide cigarettes; waking up early and staying up late. My favorite films are, not in any particular order except the first two which are tied at number one: A Clockwork Orange, Blade Runner, The Dark Knight, Memento, Requiem for a Dream and Trainspotting. Out of all of the anime series that I have seen, the one that has left a permanent space in my brain would be Hellsing. Why? Just because there has not been a series like it before, one that has everything that is required to make something so dark and masterful in one.
Dislikes
People who are just assholes in general, not like how you might act to your friends in a jokingly manner, but people who are nothing but assholes. Also, people who cannot drive and that I am the only person who gets stuck behind them whenever I am in a hurry.

A lot of my favorite music isn't on here, which is a shame. :(
