About Me
Kaustikutt is the sound-attack machine of Nikolas Vudu. Influenced by old-school industrial and EBM acts like Skinny Puppy, Coil, and Klinik, as well as post-punk and deathrock, Kaustikutt's music has a post-industrial, corrosive, sound, often drawing elements from anti-music. Don't listen to Kaustikutt if you would desire pleasure from sing-along songs or cute little love songs. Rather, listen to Kaustikutt for anger-inducing, fist-pumping, ear-splitting, uncompromising compositions. The lyrics are often political, touching on topics of censorship, animal rights, the (in)justice system, anti-religion, etc. Also often about the terrors of war and the doom-laden future of the Earth. At this point in the life of Kaustikutt, shows are somewhat frequent, but only in Nikolas' home town of Ann Arbor, MI. Progress of the debut album grows.
