I'm not very social. I tend to read and write, in lieu of talking to others. I'm on other social networking sites, but the people on those things are almost always the same. I had a VF account a few years ago, back when I started high school, and remembered how cool it used to be. The people are usually quite interesting, and I used to see artwork on here that floored me everytime I saw it. I figured I'd get back on the site and try it out again. So if you want to talk, my friends call me Nix or Nixie, and I'll pretty much talk to anyone on here. If I make a bunch of typos, I'm sorry. My keyboard hasn't been the same since the fall of March, and I have a nasty habit of not double checking what I type in non-story forms. If you need to know a bit more about me, feel free to ask. I'll tell you right now that I don't like living in Texas and I probably never will. It's too hot and dry, the scenery is boring, and if I had a nickel for every "cowboy" I've seen, I'd have enough nickels to crush at least one of them. ... ... In case you need a topic of interest, you can always ask me about my writing. I'm a would-be novelist. In other words, I would be if I could get published. I have some projects that I'm working on that I think are wonderful. I always like feedback, even over concepts. Writing horror stories is my main thing, and most of them involve werewolves. Why? I love wolves and other animals. I have a thing for the paranormal too. I frequent the BigOrb website to hear more about it, but unfortunately there's a load of bible thumpers on there. They're entitled to their opinions, but they're very aggressive when trying to push them off on others. I love reading and writing. I'm a huge fan of horror literature. I really like doing research too, though it makes me a wealth of seemingly useless information. I don't know many situations were it's important to know the four cities the Tuatha Da Daanan came from. I seem to get a few people that enjoy writing that chat me up. I adore it. I love talking to other writers, it really makes my day. For those of you that enjoy writing, and want to get involved in something that's like a writer's group that you can take part in, in your own home, I'm apart of this cult. Dislikes
I don't like it when people try to push they're beliefs off onto me. I'm willing to talk to them about it and have a civilized conversation, but I don't necessarily believe every opinion thrusted at me. I don't like two-faced people and I don't like those that are pompous. Not a fan of the color pink either, just saying.
Favorite Music
I listen to a lot of stuff. I love The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Nightwish, Wednesday 13, Katatonia, Marilyn Manson, Moonspell, and Avenged Sevenfold to name a few. I like a lot of bands. I'm just not in the mood to attempt to list them all. I don't think I could if I tried though.
I'll evetually be able to fall asleep! I just don't know WHEN yet. It can and can't be...depending on what you're doing. I'm trying to work my way up to making a layout and all a cult's components from scratch. I'm a long way away but it's a decent short term goal. ^.^
You write stories and roleplay though...having a good selection of names to choose from is ALWAYS a good idea to have!
Don't stop taking meds until your pills are gone. Just because it feels like your body is ready to be off doesn't mean it is. The pills might be the one thing keeping the acid reduced.
