on another note - whats up with the haters lately? saw the recent drama on the last vf post, plus i recently got called a 'trust fund' kid. and someone said that the triton festival lineup was 'politics'. man some people just dont have a clue.

Hello everyone!!! We just wanted to let you all know that we are changing the name of our band from Eighth Plague to Dead Social (like a Spring Social, but much darker ). We're doing this not only because that is the name of our domain (DeadSocial.com), but also because about three other bands have suddenly appeared using our band name, and they refuse to acknowledge that they are using someone else's name.
We're very sorry if this disappoints anyone. We really did like the name, and it's turning into a LOT of work to change it, but we just felt that this was a necessary step at this time. We've decided instead to delegate the title of the Eighth Plague to our fans. The Eighth Plague Empire is yours now. You are our plague upon the world, so please continue to help us spread the contagion.
As a result of this, we are going to give away all of the Eighth Plague Empire Cults to you, our fans. If any of you are interested in taking ownership of any of the cults, please post here which you're interested in. Many have about 100 members, though activity is pretty much nonexistent. A few of the cults are already spoken for, such as the Eighth Plague Consummate and the Eighth Plague Pack (possibly the Legion and Covenant as well), but there are twenty four all together here on VF, and we have banners for 88 total.
As always, thank you all so much for your continued support through our lapse in activity. The worst of our personal problems appears to be behind us now, though, and we're ready to move forward in new directions.

Long ago I was in the process of developing Eighth Plague Xanadu into something when it got autodeleted. This was back when a cult had to have at least 4 members. I could probably develop the concept with Eighth Plague Heaven (Xanadu would be an even better name, but cults can't be renamed as far as I know). I could take Eighth Plague Hell and Eighth Plague Ylem too, and maybe develop them into spinoff cults of TalesFromTheCrypt, which is getting big and hard to read. If you don't mind.
They're yours, Mark. I'll transfer ownership immediately. You've singlehandedly done so much for the Eighth Plague Empire that you are very deserving of as many as you'd like. Also, congratulations on the success of all of your cults, you've created so many amazing ones. If you'd like to recreate the Eighth Plague Xanadu, the banners for all 88 are here, though it would be a bit of work to do the colors, etc. I'm sorry I just don't have the time to set it all up, but you are more than welcome to use any of the banners. (I'd forgotten how cool some of them turned out, like the Inferno. )
