I really like Death Note, so I'd like something quite dark and mature like that. I also quite enjoyed the investigative aspect of it, but idk how much anime will have that in haha. And not too much fantasy. I don't really know what too much is, but yeah.
I just don't know where to start really D: I'm just looking at lists upon lists of anime and... yeah.
So on eBay there's a pound sign icon when you've sold something, and that turns blue when you've received payment. However, on my recently ended auction item, there's an egg timer there instead, and when I hover over it it says "payment has been initiated and is being processed through PayPal"...
Now, when I go onto PayPal it's marked as completed, and the funds are there in my PayPal account (I can't withdraw them yet because I'm a new seller so they hold my money for a while, but yeah.)
Anyone know what's up with that? I have checked my e-mail address on my auction and it's definitely correct, no typos.
I'm posting this everywhere because I'm so confused.
It may be because they payed with an e check trough paypal and it takes like 3 days to process. But you could always call paypal or eBay. Things like that have happened to me before and after a couple of days it goes back to the money sign
I'm writing out a cover letter for a job application and I'm stumped on how to word something.
I'm trying to say that I used my product knowledge and enthusiasm to let the customers see that the staff were knowledgeable and trustworthy, and make them want to come back to our store again (instead of going to one of our competitors) because they know we'll be able to help
The bit in italics is what I need another way of saying. I know it sounds like a kid's wrote it at the moment, but yeah. That's the gist of what I want to say. It's too long for a start, so I need to find a shorter way of saying that. Or find a way of breaking it into two sentences that sounds good.
Yeah I'm outta practice at the moment. Forgot how much of a nightmare it is. Not helped by my OCD with how things are worded on stuff like this; it always takes me ages to do one little application.
I am sooooo boooored.. people don't buy ice cream when it's raining - meaning I have absolutely nothing to do as long as I'm trapped here at work... 5 hours more....
ANYWAYS - I found this website, which is like formspring where you can ask people questions
So go aaask meeee stuuuuuff so I have something to do!
do you want to change lifes? i'm sick as hell and i had to x-ray my heart and lungs yesterday that the doctor can see what i have exactly... now since you know that you are happy with your borednes, or? :P
You work in an ice cream store? So the interview at that club didn't work out? O.o
Well, as long as you didn't buy it but its still a shame! Poor ice cream didn't deserve the rain treatment! Curse yee cruel fate by having it rain that day!!!
So I rang NHS Direct (free medical advice service, for those outside the UK) and told them about the excruciating pain I had in my feet after work today. This is something that's happened before and I have sought advice on it before but was dismissed because I'm young. They've referred me to a walk in centre. The rub is, it closes in 45 minutes and the wait time is 45 minutes... If a high priority comes in I'll not get seen tonight and I have another 9 hour shift tomorrow. And there are kids running around screaming here with parents who are doing nothing to stop them, which isn't helping my mood.
I'm fed up. Fed up of the pain. Fed up of not being taken seriously 'cause I'm young so OBVIOUSLY I can't have any health problems. Fed up of dreading work purely because I know I'm going to be in pain by the end of it. I want to enjoy going to work. I can deal with tiredness, boredom and arseholes, but I can't deal with the pain any more. Something needs doing, surely.
Has anyone else's times gone wrong on the site? I just noticed a thread that was posted today at 7:45pm... which hasn't happened here yet haha, it's just after 6:45pm... and I definitely had my settings set to GMT, which is my time zone. I mean, I've changed it to GMT-1 so the times are right now, but yeah.
So on Wendesday I had a group interview for Asda (Walmart, for you 'Muricans), and I got through and was invited to have a one-on-one interview today, and... I got the job!! Going in for the welcome day tomorrow, and then I start soon.
16 hour contract too, much better than what most retail places are offering at the moment, and the pay is more than I was getting at Argos, so yay!
