Doesn't mean it's in any less bad shape then it was before
Metro: Last Light is one of the best games of 2013. The atmosphere, graphics and the story are all great aside from the voice acting which is a bit lame but alright nevertheless!
Gameplay is pretty much the same as it was in the previous installment but with some improvements. For instance stealth in Metro: Last light is definitely alot better, enemey A.I don't see you unless you stand in the light, they'll get suspicious if they hear something but won't go to full alert. There's few more weapons in Last Light which you can customzie like silencers, long barrles, lasers and so on.
I consider Metro: Last Light to be a fps-horror game cause it mixes with action and horror and it does it very well ( Unlike Aliens: Colonial mariens which sucked balls ) First you'll be fighting against various factions such as the nazis, communits and bandits. Next you'll be fighting against mutants who are lurking in the shadows and believe me they're pain the ass and as soon as you hear a howl you'll go FULL ALERT!
However the game is very lienar and doesn't allow you to explore much, which is sad. Hopefully next Metro game will take more approach to exploring like the stalker games or far cry 3, I mean there got to be more secrets in the Metro that's just waiting to be discovered.
Also the game had some frame rate issues especially for ATI cards however a driver update and a patch did help fixing the problem.
O.K., a few observations. I have played the original game and I must admit that despite its dystopian environment, an environment that I adore in games (e.g. Deus Ex, Doom III, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, American McGee's Alice), it fall in the trap of this group of video games who do not try to BE video games but rather simulations of Reality. Do not get me wrong. Of course, it is a pure subjective approach, but a video game for me is full of neon colors, 'blink blink' noises and pixels.Now, the specific trailer seems epic and I adored the way they promoted the game (and if you ask me it shows the future of this planet). I do not know if I would go and buy it (or download it). But it has its own hallmark on the map.P.S.: Nazis? I thought it was in the future. Is it in a parallel Universe?
Hey everyone. I just wanted to apologize to everyone for being less than active on here as of late. There has been a LOT going on in my personal life lately that I'm trying to get through. Rest assured, however, that the new album is still being worked on, just slower than it originally was. There isn't much to update except that I think I may have settled on a title for the new album. Still tinkering and deciding though.
Anyway, I hope everyone is well.

on another note - whats up with the haters lately? saw the recent drama on the last vf post, plus i recently got called a 'trust fund' kid. and someone said that the triton festival lineup was 'politics'. man some people just dont have a clue.

Wow Jet, one would think after all these years and all the shit you and this website's been through, you would simply ignore anonymous bigmouth drama queens and not dedicate an entire post to them.That being said, fuck them. It's strange here, as that incident made the news every 30 minutes on talk radio. Not hardly a blip on TV here. My thoughts and prayers to family who lost their loved one.
