So for years VF had "Top pics" and everything was great. WE slapped up our photos, whether innocent or cheeky. We all propped the stuff we liked, and then frolicked away like the carefree little lambs we were.
But then the voices from on high went "OOOOOOO NO, THAT WON'T DO AT ALL! LOOK! SOME OF THOSE PEOPLE ARE NEARLY NAKED, AND THAT'S DIRTY AND WRONG! COVER YOUR SHAME IMMEDIATELY, YOU FILTHY JEZEBELS!".
And so "Top pics" was taken way from us, as if we'd been visited by one of the more "old-school" variety of Victorian nannies. The sort who, if one child misbehaved, would throw away ALL the toys because that's just easier than tackling the actual problems, right? And thus it fell. We've still got those completely redundant props for them, of course. They do absolutely nothing, but hey! Clicking buttons is cool, right? Right?
Here's the problem- it wasn't a failure with the concept of "Top pics". That was fine. There just wasn't any clear guidelines on what was acceptable, and moderation of them that was inconsistent and occasionally missing entirely. Of course the smutty stuff is going to attract attention because that's human nature. And that's why you had admins keeping it in line. So here's a bold suggestion-
BRING IT BACK!
But this time, with clear guidelines and rules. And get the site admins policing them accordingly. Simple! It's an easy route back to restoring a popular feature. And if it managed to work years ago when VF was busier, it can work again now.
It's a win/win situation for all concerned. So how about it?

I don't like to rush people! I knew you'd get to it when you could. He seems really friendly, and it's awesome of him to be offering to fill requests to try to preserve the cult's status, so to speak. And yeah, it's not like I'm even half-way decent at graphics. I'm sure he'll improve, and I wouldn't mind requesting like icons and things for personal use from him. I'm just a freak about the stuff I use for my cults.
I've joined and am definitely gonna give it a shot. It looks actually to be pretty active. Which is nice.

Does anybody have the time and means to make a header image for my cult, Feminist? I know pretty much exactly what I want, in terms of image, font and dimensions, but have no photo editing software at the moment >.> I'm working on a request for a new layout for my cult, and would like to have a header image to provide for them to work with. And of course, if someone's willing to make me one, they'll be given credit on the layout.
