Hello my dark lovelies *smiles*
I wanted to give you an update on my health. As some of you know, I have been dealing with a lot & not been online as much as I like. For those that do not know, I have Fibromyalgia, diabetes, high blood pressure, & anxiety disorder. I have recently found out that I have a kidney stone a little bit larger than a marble. Not quite sure what they are gonna do yet, my appointment with the Urologist is Wednesday. The pain from the Fibro is bad enough & with the kidney stone...I have been sick a lot from the pain! I also have been having more dizzy spells than usual & have fallen three times because of them.
I have been also dealing with other things as well. My grandmother is being so cruel lately & do not know why she is acting like this. The house my mom lives in belongs to my grandma & she told my mom she was selling it! My mother is a paraplegic & mostly confined to bed, my step dad was diagnosed with colon cancer a few months ago, it's pretty bad. Myself & my boys were living with my grandma to help her out because she was alone & having difficulties keeping up the house. My boys & I no longer live there with her because of how she was treating us, she forced us out & now she is being even more ugly about me getting the rest of my stuff. I do not have a vehicle & the stuff I did get out was helped by some friends of ours. She is threatening to put our stuff at the curb for trash pick up. I told her I am trying to get some help to get the last of my stuff, but she didn't care, she wants it out now! She calls almost every day screaming & yelling awful things about my mom (her daughter), my boys & myself. I know for a fact that my grandma needs help but denies that she does.
With my health problems, along with my mother & step dad's as well...things are really difficult & very stressful! We all are looking for another place to live & it's such a headache, I cannot even begin to express how much of a mess this is *sighs* I'm so tired, in pain, stressed out & just all around hurt by how my grandma is treating us.
Never meant for this to be that long, I just wanted to let you know why I have not been around much at all.
Back in 2008, I did an acoustic guitar-only recording of "Broken" by Seether. I can't remember the reason why I did this, but I know that if I tried to do this today, I doubt I would be able to pull it off like I did 5 years ago. This was recorded with my laptop microphone and a Esteban steel-string acoustic.
hahahaha just had one of those scam phone calls claiming they are from Microsoft in India telling me my PC is infected and they needed to RAdmin my machine to clear it out (yea fucking right). I have just broken my previous record for the amount of profanity in a 30 second time frame. I mean how fucking stupid do these people assume I am, and furthermore to assume I am even a Windoze user. Ha laughable.

Diocletion,was both intelligent and strong willed,qualities that make a leader dance to a tune,different from the bland elevator tunes that the majority of folks and folkettes of the female persuasion,and some that aren't of the female persuasion listen to,and thus,he ruled for twenty six years.He was liked by the majority of romans,both in and out of the army,and during his reign,two german tribes,the quadi and the marcomanni,invaded roman territory.Diocletian and his army marched to the rhine.He and the army attacked the tribes,drove them back across the rhine,and then he ordered that the roman forts along the rhine be resupplied with men and weapons.With the borders of the empire secured,diocetian turned his attention to the sarmatians of russia.He attacked their tribes,and though he won several battles,the russian lands were too vast,so diocletian pulled his forces out of russia.He then decided to attack the sassanid empire of persia,which he did,and after winning several battles inside persian territory,the king of the sassanid empire,bahram II,sent an envoy of peace to diocletians camp.The two leaders met,and bahram told diocletian that he wanted to be a friend to rome,and then declared that if diocletian would agree to sign a peace treaty,he would give the territory of armenia to the roman empire.Diocletian agreed.The two leaders signed the peace treaty,and diocletian was hailed as the founder of eternal peace in rome.
That's what was going on in the mortal affairs of the false reality.Here's what was going on in the immortal circle of unlife.Many vampires that hated rome,narhabal included,began to realize that diocletian was a strong intelligent ruler,and that he had not only restored the borders of the roman empire and made them strong again,but he had invaded two foreign powers,conquered one,added it to the empire,which increased it's size and power,and was now pondering on a second invasion of russia.To the vampires that hated rome,it seemed that diocletian might recreate the roman empire into a bigger monster than it had previously been.This,they decided,could not be allowed to happen,and they began pondering on ways to destroy the wretched empire.Sadly for them,every time they tried to create chaos within the empire,roman vampires,whose power had increased due to the success of the emperor,and thus,they had more ways to inforce that power,found ways to defeat the plans of the rebels,and then,they slowly began to hunt the rebels,and when a group of rebels were found,they were attacked,and usually destroyed.The reign of diocletian was a good time for roman vampires,and roman venture,toreador,and brujah thought up a name for this time.They called it,the golden venture,the name implying that it was a time of prosperity,and that that prosperity seemed to have no end.Narhabal,and his companions,stayed with the army,and continued to fight on the side of rome,all the while pondering on ways to destroy rome from within,but with each roman victory,narhabal got madder.Why he wondered,did the emperor not suffer from the effects of greed,as every emperor before him had.Why was he content to conquer,and then distribute the spoils of war to all that had helped him,which was quite unlike his predecessors,and quite unnatural to the human condition in general.Did he understand the concept that absolute power,corrupts absolutely?If that was so,and the ventrue really pondered on that idea,then they might decide to either ghoul the emperor,or worse,embrace him,and what then?Could a new empire,one ruled by the kindred and based on the concepts of rome,come into existence,and if so,could it survive?A new enoch?The thought of this,was too much for narhabal to take.He couldn't accept it.He couldn't deal with it.He didn't dig it.He began leaving the roman camp,and wandering through the towns all night,returning minutes before dawn.Carthena,neco,and sarasax,realized he was slowly losing his sanity,and they began to worry about him.They dared not voice their opinion to him though.At least not for awhile,but as the nights went on and narhabals madness got worse,he became unpredictable.He began to challenge the mortals around him,which is a dangerous thing to do,even for a vampire.If even one mortal suspected that there were supernatural beings in their midst,he would tell others,and the others,out of fear,would try to destroy them,and they could succeed.
This was bad mojo,and narhabals companions knew they had to do something.He could not be allowed to continue on the path he was taking.One night.after narhabal had left the tent,neco,carthena,and sarasax began to discuss what they should do.Though the idea of destroying narhabal entered into their minds,they never spoke of it,and instead pondered on either staking him,then leaving and taking him somewhere,far from the roman empire,and then they would decide what to do from there,or,talking to narhabal,and trying to get him to stop doing what he was doing and re access the situation.Both plans,were dangerous,but they had no other choice.They decided to talk to narhabal first,and hope they could get him to calm down.
Dawn came,as it always does,and narhabal arrived back at the tent a few minutes before the sun rose.He was not in good shape mentally.There was a fire in his eyes,that showed no sign of dying out.Sarasax took him,carthena,and neco into the earth,and after sleeping through the day,he brought them to the surface shortly after night came.Narhabal,barely spoke.He was consumed by anger,and hatred for rome,and his companions looked at each other.They all knew they had to say something,but they all feared what would happen if they did.
As narhabal walked toward the opening in the tent,carthena broke the deadlock.She walked in front of him,and smiled.She gently touched his cheek,and looked into his eyes,and kissed him.She hugged him,and then told him that she wanted him to stay with her.He told her he had to go out,but she insisted that he stay with her.Once again,he told her he could not stay,and once again,she insisted that he stay.He turned away from her,and paced around the tent,then asked why she wanted him to stay.
Seeing what carthena had done,neco gathered his courage.He approached his friend,and maker,and told him that the actions he was taking,put them all in danger,and that,perhaps it was time to leave,and go beyond the borders of rome for awhile,and there they could rethink their plans,and at another time,when the roman empire started to weaken,they would return,and help other vampires destroy it.
Narhabals eyes turned red with fury.He began pacing again,and then asked if the three vampires had become afraid of rome,and thus,no longer wanted to fight against it.Sarasax told narhabal,that that was not the case,but narhabal didn't seem to hear him.He heard only the sound of his beast as it raged inside him.He gripped the hilt of his sword.As carthena stepped toward him,and reached out to him,narhabal screamed that he was surrounded by traitors,and scared children.He quickly turned around,pulled his sword,and swung it.Carthenas eyes went wide in shock.For a second,she stood there,staring at narhabal.Then her head fell to the ground,followed by her body.Her blood poured out of her neck.A few seconds later,carthenas head and body turned grey,and then,turned into a pile of ashes.
Narhabal stood there,staring at the ashes of the woman that had been his best friend,and his lover.Neco and sarasax stood in silence,shocked at what they had just seen.Narhabal dropped his sword.Tears of blood came out of his eyes,and he fell to his knees.The anger was gone.Now there was only a terrible sadness.

Two emperors were dead,and narhabal had not been their killer,a fact that greatly disturbed him,and as we all know,the longer a brujahs anger stews within him or her,the more anal they get about everything.Rome,despite it's internal problems,and the fact that its emperors were all depraved nutcases,was still strong,and narhabal wanted it gone.As the army marched towards rome,he began pondering on ways to finally bring it down.Some might say that to think such a thing,is foolish,and that narhabal was out of touch with reality,and some might be right,but history has shown that sometimes,it's thouse that have the courage to embrace what seems to be impossible,that can either make the impossible possible,or inspire others to make what seems to be impossible possible,and fa la la la lanot alloweding on.
On november 3rd,284,numerian was found dead,and his older brother carinus,became the sole ruler of the roman empire.Shortly after becoming emperor,he marched into the germanic lands,and began to fight with the quadi tribe,and after achieving several victories,he returned to rome,and began to live a life of pleasure.For two years,he ate and fucked,and drank and fucked,and slept and fucked,and spent large sums of money,on more wine,food,and every luxury that money could buy,but on january 8th,285,when he got the news that an army was marching towards rome,and that the army had elected a new emperor,well,it made him very unhappy,well cuz,he was the emperor,and thus,he felt that he had to go teach the new fake emperor,that he couldn't have the throne.Carinus assembled his army,and left rome.He marched towards the army that was marching towards rome,and met it five months later at the margus river.The two armies clashed there,and after fighting a long battle,several of the soldiers decided to kill carinus.They sent an envoy to the new emperor diocletian,and then rushed through the ranks till they reached carinus.Then they killed him,and when the soldiers that were still loyal to carinus saw him die,they scattered.The battle ended,and the killers,along with the majority of the army,pledged their allegiance to diocletian.
Though narhabal and his companions had fought in the battle,and thus,in a sense,had helped diocletian to win the throne of rome,he wasn't happy,oh no no no no no.As each night passed,he got madder and madder and madder,and it became clear to his companions that he was losing his grip on both his sanity and reality.He kept insisting on gathering his forces,and attacking rome,but he had no forces,and thus,the idea was a fools jest.Sadly,as every being someday learns,rage is a beast,that often cannot be controlled,and thus,when unleashed,it can force one to do terrible things,and narhabals rage became so powerful that one night,it broke free of it's leash.
The events that followed,would push narhabal into insanity,and the result of that insanity,would lead to the destruction of the person that he cherished the most in the false reality.

One by one,mortals and vampires fell.Some tried to flee,only to be carried off by the storm,others simply waited for the assamites to come for them,knowing they were powerless to save themselves.The emperor,was oblivious to what was going on around him.He'd found the princes bedroom,and his harem,and had then locked its doors,and began to enjoy himself.For three days,and three nights,as his men died around him,he enjoyed the pleasures of the palace,and the women of the harem,but on the fourth night,everything changed.Charon,a nosfertu scholar that was hiding in the room that night,recorded what happened.
As the storm raged around us,the emperor drank wine,and had sex with every woman in the harem.On the forth night,we awoke and discovered that someone new was in the room.A woman,in the harem,that neither I,nor the emperor,had seen before.How she got into the room was a mystery,that to this night,I haven't solved,but she was there,and there was another interesting thing about her.Aside from the fact that she was beautiful,she had long blue hair,and wore a blue dress,and it was these things,that made her stand out from the other women in the harem.The emperor,thinking that the wine had muddled his mind,and that was why he hadn't noticed her before,commanded that she stand and approach him,which she did,and after studying her features and body,he commanded her to dance,which she did,and as she danced,the emperor and I became entranced.We could not look away,a fact that greatly disturbed me.With each step,the woman in blue got closer and closer and closer to the emperor,and her eyes,oh her beautiful magnificent frightening eyes never left his,but what really bothered me,was when thouse eyes looked at me.I was using obfuscate,and no mortal,and the majority of vampires could not have seen me,but she saw me.I don't get frightened easily,in fact,aside from when I was a child,I've never been frightened of anything,but when she saw me,she smiled,and suddenly I was overwhelmed by fear,and though I wanted to run from the room,and never look back,I stayed where I was,more because something inside me was intrigued by the woman,than because I wanted to record what was happening.
The woman then looked at the emperor,and continued to dance,getting closer and closer and closer to him.He felt completely comfortable,and sensed no danger,as the woman got to within a few inches from him,and then,as I watched,she bent down,kissed him on his lips,looked at me again,looked at him,and then,she was gone.How she got out of the room,I do not know.As I tried to assimilate what I had just seen,I looked at the emperor,and noticed that he had an odd look on his face.He stared at the ceiling,and he seemed to be having trouble breathing.I listened,and could hear that his heart had started speeding up,and though he tried to call out,he seemed to have lost the ability to speak.He raised his arms,then lowered them again,and then,he closed his eyes.His heartbeat began to slow,and then,it stopped.The emperor was dead,and for a few minutes,I expected that the woman in blue would suddenly appear next to me,and then she would kill me too,but she did not appear,and after awhile,I began to calm down.I know not who the woman was,and I have never seen her again.All I know,is that she was a powerful ancient vampire.So powerful,that she was able to assert her will over every person in the room,and stop them from warning the emperor,that she was not a member of the harem.A vampire that powerful,is truly terrifying indeed.
The next day,the guards,worried because they had not seen the emperor in four days,knocked on the door,and called to him.When he did not answer,they knocked and called again.Again,he did not answer.Again,they knocked and called to him,and again,there was no answer.The guards then broke the doors down,and found the emperor,dead in the bed,and that was the end of marcus numerius carus.
Since the emperor had named his two sons his successors,his younger son,numerian was now the emperor,and though he wanted to continue the campaign against the sassanid empire,the army,terrified because of the storm,refused to go on,saying that the gods were angry at them for some reason,and they demanded to return to europe.Numerian told them that when the storm passed,they would return to rome,and late in the day,the storm ended.Numerian and the army left the castle,and began to march back towards europe.The roman army got no opposition from the sassanids,and when they reached bithynia,they made camp.Nosferatu and cappadocian scholars once again say,that that night,a strange woman arrived at the camp.No one had ever seen her before,but she was beautful,and she wore a blue dress with a veil,and she had long blue hair.She asked to see the emperor,so that she could entertain him.The soldiers should have said no,but they seemed unable to resist the woman.They showed her to the emperors tent,and when he saw her,he told the soldiers to leave him alone with the woman,which the soldiers did.The next day,when the emperor awoke,she woman was gone.The emperor,enraptured by his beautiful guest,ordered a search done for the woman,but she could not be found,and thus,the emperor ordered that they start marching again.The soldiers packed up the camp,and they began marching again.
The next day,the emperor complained of eye pain,though he looked fine and dandy,and after begin examined by a doctor,and told it was nothing,he ordered the march to continue.The next day,he began to feel sick,and his eyes got red and they puffed up.The next day,the emperors eyes swelled shut.The next day,the soldiers smelled the scent of death coming from the emperors coach.The opened the door of the coach,pulled back the curtains,and found numerian dead,and starting to rot.They burned the body,and put the ashes into an urn,and continued the march toward rome.
I know what you're thinking.You're thinking,who was the mysterious woman in blue,that successfully killed two roman emperors?No one knows.One can speculate that she was an assamite.The assamites were in the castle and they were following the army,but her beauty,the blue dress,the blue hair,and the fact that she was a magnificent dancer,lead many kindred scholars to believe that she was a toreador.No one can say for sure,and though the woman has been seen through the ages,she has never revealed anything about herself,to anyone.Perhaps one night,she shall,but till that night comes,her identity shall remain a mystery.
Narhabal,and his companions,survived the castle incident of course,probably because sarasax took them deep into the earth while the assamites were killing the kindred in the castle.Narhabal didn't care what clan the woman in blue was from.He was mad that she had done what he had wanted to do,but since he could do nothing,he and his companions followed the army back to rome.

After the death of marcus tacitus,the legions of the west elected marcus florianus,and marcus florianus might have been assassinated by mortals,narhabal,or another vampire,had he not been assassinated by his own troops three months later,after losing a battle to a soldier named marcus probus,that had taken command of the eastern legions.In seven years,he fought the goths,alamanni,longiones,franks,burgundians,and vandals,and though he beat all of them,he angered the legions by declaring that the german tribes were too savage,and that they could never be conquered,and then he ordered a permanent withdrawal from the germanic lands.Marcus florianus made his final mistake when he ordered the legions to start building buildings,roads,canals,and to then plant crops.The soldiers wanted to fight.They hated their assignments,and when the legions proclaimed marcus carus emperor on october third 282,marcus probus gathered some of the legions,and marched out to meet the usurper in battle.Shortly before the army of marcus probus met the army of marcus carus,the army of marcus probus revolted and killed him.The senate the ratified the election,and that was that.
Shortly after the election,the new emperor decided to invade the sassanid empire,that had been weakened by civil war.He bestowed the title of emperor on his two sons,carinus and numerian,and then told carinus to rule in rome.He told numerian to accompany him on the invasion,and then both men left rome with the army.
Narhabal and his companions,followed the army,and pondered on what their next move would be.They watched with growing dismay,as the army won victory and victory,and realized that if the romans weren't stopped,they would conquer all of asia minor,and then add it to the empire,which would make it larger and more powerful.This could not be allowed,and narhabal decided to kill the emperor and his son.He wasn't the only vampire to ponder that idea,oh no no no no no.Many vampires wanted to kill the emperor,and halt the roman advance.The clan that hated the emperor the most,were the assamites.Asia minor is their territory,and they hated the idea of it falling into the hands of the romans.Narhabal hated the idea of them stealing his thunder and killing the emperor first,and he began pondering on a plan to assassinate the emperor.Asia minor,however,was not rome,and narhabal and the vampires that had come from rome,were out of their league.This victory would not be won by their forces.What happened next,was recorded by several nosferatu and cappadocian scholars that were living in asia minor at the time,some that actually saw this happen.The story goes like this.
At alamut,the mountain home of the assamites,the elders of the clan gathered to discuss what they should do.The romans would soon reach their home,and with it would come thousands of roman vampires,intent of conquering all of asia minor.The roman vampires hated the assamites,and they would destroy all of them and destroy their mountain home is they could.They had to be stopped,and thus,the elders decided that their sorcerers had to get involved.They called fourth the elder sorcerers,and told them to do whatever they had to do,to stop the roman advance.The sorcerers went deep into the mountain.They opened their spell books,and searched for the spell that would aid them in their task,and soon after they had begun their search,they found it.They gathered together,and cast a spell that created a powerful storm,then they sent the storm towards the romans.This was no easy task I assure you.Such a thing requires immense concentration,which is why it can be performed only by elders.Young vampires don't have the mental strength to go days without eating,and to sit in the dark,focusing on the storm.
The storm moved across the land,towards the roman army.The scouts saw it coming,and informed the emperor that it was powerful,and that they should stop,take refuge in a castle,and wait till the storm had passed.At first,the emperor decided to continue the advance,but when he saw the storm coming,and saw how powerful it was,he ordered the army to take refuge in a castle that they had taken from a sassanid prince.The storm reached the castle,and it was bad.The wind howled and it was so powerful,that any man that stuck his head out a window,was pulled from the castle.The emperor,the mortals,and even some of the vampires were afraid that the storm would destroy the castle.After three days,the storm still raged,and every mortal in the castle wondered why it had not passed them.The vampires however,know why the storm had not passed.They knew that the storm was supernatural in nature,and that they had made a mistake.On the third night,human beings and vampires began to vanish.A search was started,but the men that had vanished could not be found,and narhabal and the other vampires knew the assamites were among them,watching them,waiting,and when they saw their chance,they emerged from the shadows,dragged a mortal or a vampire into the darkness,and killed them.
Thus,the vampires that had decided to kill the emperor,now changed their minds.They gathered in small groups,and armed themselves,and hoped that they would be able to sense the enemy coming,and even if some of them were killed,the rest might survive.It did them no good.One by one,the assamites closed in on them,and one by one,they killed them,which is why we malkavians have a saying.
