Glamrock, electric guitar photoshoot;
I almost immediately got all the photos back from last shoot but I didn't want to make hundreds of updates a day, so I'll be showing them off now. I was able to borrow an electric guitar from someone for this shoot, thank you much, Beno! So I had a blast and felt like the photos came out awesome. I love this style and I hope I can work on my rock 'n' roll portfolio with more photographers soon! (If you click the pictures, it'll take you to my gallery or a bigger version of the photo.)
Censored nudity and glamour photoshoot;
So it's been a busy week for updates and I have received back the photos from the shoot I had in May with Lieven Lens. I'm so very happy with the results! We're going to plan our next photoshoot soon too, exciting! I hope you feel as excited as I am after seeing the results? (If you click the pictures, it'll take you to my gallery or a bigger version of the photo.)
Leopard print sleeves;
I had an appointment with my tattoo artist today and finally got my half sleeves done. I did both sides at once, it took us three hours. I felt quite relaxed, actually, surprisingly relaxed. I got used to the sensation and felt a little sad that it was over, even though that feeling was easily replaced with my excitement after seeing the finished result in the mirror.

In the "Behind The Song"-series we talk about the writing process, the technical side, the ideas behind the lyrics, and much more... Today we tackle the track "Our Common Future" which features vocalist Kyoko Baertsoen (known from her work with Hooverphonic, Lunascape and more recently Buscemi). The track is taken from the 2013 Psy'Aviah EP "Future Past".
roland, i am looking for tips from you. you referred me to this site years ago, and i would like some fashion tips from you. i am going into college to study fashion, and it would be neat to learn a little before hand
Photoshoot;
I had a very fun photoshoot today with Luc Roovers, a photographer I have worked with before a few years ago. We worked on a glamrock theme and I 'decorated' his studio with lingering clothes, empty bottles and torn or wrinkled papers. It had to look a bit messy. I also took my leopard print blanket with me and a tiger print pillow. I'm going to keep the rest of the shoot's details to myself so it'll be a little surprise to you! Hope you'll like what you see when I've got back the results.
"Again, this EP is a true success! It's like a soft dream, an electronic journey into nostalgia."
"I don't like dubstep but here, the elements of beats and synths are introduced with such subtlety that it works perfectly."
'Our common future' has a clear guitar sound in it and Kyoko Bartsoen is joining the vocal team (love it). This one is so sweet that it feels as if you need to brush your teeth's afterwards. I loved the sexy Dizkodude remix!"
Thx to Peek-A-Boo for the review & understanding our evolving & experimentation in sound & songwriting: because that is what Psy'Aviah is all about! To finish, here's our interactive youtube trailer to preview the new "Future Past" EP:
Mood: Purrrrrrfect Music: Letting Go (Amarta Project remix)
It does sound French And yeah, calling me Anji is fine, most people call me that... I don't know why, but almost everyone seems to be able to pronounce that better than my whole first name..
I got a hell of an international last name, my first name contain and "uj" bit and people often get confused about the pronouncation, it sounds really freaking weird pronounced in English
