So many lifetime goths have had an emo phase, though. I think unfortunately, it's related. Punks hate that nazi punks are punks... but they are. Yeah, I know that emo doesn't have goth in its name but emos look like baby bats

Awesome video! That reaction when it got to the emo part (though I found it fascinating) was priceless lol

Good video! I don't get why the emo style was mentioned either.

Yes, I agree. The women's one had stuff like pin-up and rock-a-billy which have nothing to do with Goth. Oddly enough they mentioned industrial and Cybergoth but neither one of the videos said anything about the military styles or rivet-heads.

This video is adorable. But i'm annoyed that it perpetuates the whole Emo is Goth, Goth is Emo trend. When in actuality it just isn't so. Emo probably wouldn't exist without Goth, but just like Goth is not the same as Punk. Emo and Goth are not the same.

I get because of being plus sized and over 30, that being any kind of goth is a no no because everything after 30 is apparently supposed to be a professional manner and that it is a big misconception in my eyes. Just like the whole thought process of if you are a bigger person and have tattoos: you are not good looking or look like trailer trash. it all depends on how you present yourself.

I totally agree with you tattooeddragon_CA.
Goth has no size or age limit. It's about what's in your heart. ....and I'll never be professional dammit! Uncouth and non pc is how I'll always be!
