Seriously though. The world sucks. And if you're too stupid not to do your own research on people you meet online, when things like google images and... google anything is available to you... Then you deserve it.

My family doesn't watch t.v., so we don't have cable.
Our t.v.s are only used for gaming, lol
Just like everything else on MTV. I just don't like that show basically saying everyone on the internet is fake. I agree though, hooray for things like reverse image searching!
I wasn't implying that MTV was lying. I think the couple knew each other, and knew each others secrets, and they used this as an excuse to meet. Cause they were way too accepting of each others lies.
As someone that was burned by the lies of a person I met online and was completely devastated by how oblivious and naive I was... I will NEVER let that happen again. And I will NEVER completely trust another person, online or irl. Lesson learned, wisdom obtained.
Hmm, yeah that's a possibility, assuming the show isn't 100% scripted. Could just be like most other shows like Cheaters & such where the people were just hired actors who never communicated with each other beforehand.
I certainly know what it's like to be lied to and not trust people. You deserve better though, and you'll get it.
Lying happens everywhere. but I fully agree with you. if people can't do research or be smart about online relationships thy shouldn't have one. all the things people get called out for on cat fish are things i do a few days into talking to them.it's common sense and I qit chats with people who won't skype or have a basic way of proving they are real.
... For the record. I never asked for this one random entry to end up in top journals. I think it's a little retarded that it ever did. I simply wrote this for the hell of it, and not to inform anyone of anything.
You deserve better though, and you'll get it.
