yeah i agree about it being like an updated version of the oldskool / original page, and i kept the oldskool page in mind while doing it. I wanted to make it not as cluttered / easier to read and true to our roots but with new updates to reflect new technology.
but yeah it's a work in progress so feel free to give any suggestions
yeah actually i originally had that 'online users / etc' box below the main news, i'm still kinda on the fence about whether to put the main news above it.
I definitely prefer this new one over the last update. While it is still a bit busy, it's not as cramped and busy looking. I still prefer the oldskool because of its minimalist design, but the added features are nice.
I still think the last design is trolling me because it keeps reverting back after I change it to oldskool. It doesn't do this to Felix so I can't figure out why mine is doing it.
I actually really like it. Other than I agree with zander about switching the updates with the online users. And once you scroll down to read the older updates, there's nothing to either side and it looks a bit. . . off somehow, it's too empty.
