Static X Returns!
Static X after a bit of a hiatus is finally returning to the road. Joining them on the tour will be the legendary Prong, Davey, Suicide, and 9 Electric.
Frontman and guitarist Wayne Static commented on the upcoming tour in a press release by saying, “I had a great time over the past few years doing my ‘Pighammer’ album and solo tours, but it’s time to get Static-X back on the road. I can’t wait to tear it up with some old school Evil Disco!”

This would be all fine and dandy if they hadn't remade the same album 3 times. Some bands just don't know how to not rehash the same shit over and over and over and over.
*chug chugjun chug jun 'harmonic' chuh chugchug jun jun 'harmonic' <insert random incoherent lyric here' 'harmonic'*
^^^All with incredibly generic industrial beat underneath.
Rinse, lather, repeat. For twelve songs. For what, 4 albums?

I'm gonna have to agree with Deathwish on that one...
The 2007 Album feat. some of my faves like:
1. Cannibal
2. No Submission
5. Destroyer
10. Electric Pulse
13. Get Up And Boogie
I got all the CD's... I'm just a Static-X Fiend!!!!
1999: Wisconsin Death Trip - 2000: The Death Trip Continues [EP]
2000: Push It (CDS) - 2001: Machine
2001:Black & White - 2002: Cold (Single) - 2003: Rarities (Official Burn) - 2004: Beneath... Between... Beyond
2005: Start A War - 2007: Cannibal - 2008: Cannibal Killers Live
I'll agree that Cannibal was the most different out of the albums, but that slight difference is thrown away by the fact that it was also their shittiest album, IMO. The only redeeming quality about it was the production, and that's not even really in the band's hands
Because Seattle's music scene has completely fucking died. Even decent metal bands from the Sea-Tac area have to go to Portland or Boise to even get decent shows.
While a member of Static-X, Eisen was arrested on February 10, 2005 on a felony charge in Orange County, California for having sexual intercourse with an underage girl. He was released on bail after only a few hours in custody. Just two weeks later, on February 24, 2005, Eisen was arrested again in California by New Jersey detectives for the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl from Sayreville, New Jersey. New Jersey State Police alleged that Eisen posed as a Static-X fan on the Internet and lured the girl starting in October 2004 and culminating with sexual intercourse on January 7, 2005.[10]
Upon hearing of the arrests, Static-X fired Eisen and replaced him with the original guitarist Koichi Fukuda (whom Eisen had replaced after Fukuda left the band in 2001). When Wayne Static was asked about Eisen's firing he said: "I knew immediately that we were going to kick him out of the band. We had to do that."
On June 24, 2005, Eisen pled guilty to the California charges of statutory rape and was sentenced to a year in state prison. After spending late February to late September 2005 in California prison, Eisen was released and due for an October 7, 2005 arraignment in New Jersey on the February 24 charges.[11]
Eisen was back in jail on December 10, 2008 following a parole violation. He was released on October 19, 2009.[12]
Not sure how entirely accurate WIKI is with the case, but yeah...
Oh good, yeah Static X is awesome as hell. You should also check out Wayne Static's solo album Pighammer. It sounds like Machine or Wisconsin Deathtrip mixed with new elements.
