i actually really like celldweller, they rock. =) yeah i know they've been doing like dubstep remixes for their live shows which agreed is trendy but i dont mind dubstep in moderation
the last time I was listening to Korn and they pushed it too on some recent album
I rather listen to hardstyle instead, I hear proper bass there (with rhythm)
music to dubstep is like metal to screamo:
edgy trash and the masses like it pop music
now I wish I was on a computer with speakers to check this out. I know Scott's history and friends with members of his previous band. Cool to see that Scott is still active.
Celldweller has come such a long way since the debut album in 2003, nice to see him getting more exposure even if it's taken so long, I've still been dying to see the band live but i heard that Klayton's not doing band gigs like in the above video anymore and that he's only up for doing DJ gigs or something, which still i wouldn't mind seeing i guess but the performance showcased above is definitely way more interesting, a shame that he's so much more focused on being a DJ :S
As for the dubstep drumstep thatstep thisstep, meh... i can dig it in small doses i guess and what I've heard from Celldweller isn't bad, he's always blended different genres... it may be trendy now but it's just one more style he's utilizing in his music.

I LOVE KORN! and CORN! lol. But really like video and remix for Fadeaway. It had a Prodigy feel to personally. Thanks for getting that exclusive. Celldweller looks and sounds awesome live! I recently pre-ordered my copy of Wish Upon a Blackstar. I hope they will do an European tour at some point. I'd love to see them live.
