MONSTERS ON TOUR europe, NORDSTERN FESTIVAL, hamburg
THIS SHOW HAPPENED ON: july 9, 2011
WHAT A FANTASTICALLY FRUITFUL DAY! :-D woke up parked behind the festival grounds at NORDSTERN near hamburg. found my way to catering, which was stuck OUTSIDE in the daylight... EGH! i was less than thrilled and it took my motor a bit to get warmed up today. stoked to have some amazing company for breakfast though. my best little buddy Mia who's doin monitors for IAMX and mark from VNV were there for me to spill coffee and eat twix bars in front of.
trevor tattooed a couple of chicks today. one of them brought this amazing puppet of him which was modeled after that picture of me and him while i was getting my dick sucked with that horse mask on... yea, no reason to pussy foot around that shit anymore. everyone has seen my erection now. i know this. could be worse. at least it was the girls turn and not the guys i suppose.... ANYHOW, what an amazing puppet. you should make one of me too. it's a great excuse to get to make a fake penis now isn't it.?!. :-D
we decided late last night on the bus after such an amazingly productive MONKEYS ARE MACHINEGUNS rehearsal that we should have our live debut seconds before the COMBICHRIST performance at the festival today, so trevor bobby and i got ready a few minutes early so we could be ready to do something random like this, just as it started raining. oh, and ladies and gentle-trannies.....: RONAN FROM VNV NATION! *((CHEERS AND APPLAUSE IS HEARD THROUGHOUT BATHROOMS ACROSS BULGARIA))*
the show was a fucking MESS but fun as fuck. MAM came out and we did "I'm not racist, i just hate alot"... then we went right into the COMBI set and all hell was breaking loose. it was pouring rain, everyone was getting soaked, it was broad daylight, and the PA sucked, so andy flipped the monitors over. my drums were set up right in front of one of IAMX's drum sets, and soon after my first few hits one of their techs was sent out to sit behind them and keep a watchful eye over my reign of destruction. thankfully i didn't break any of their shit. and then for the last song, fuckin fishy came out dressed like a bumble bee and MJ like a robot. andy full on tackled her at one point, shit was goin DOWN! FIASCO STYLE, and it was fucking awesome. here's some footage of MAM shot by levi from MORTIIS, and some footage of the end of the show shot from the stage which is owned by the purchaser of my JOE LETZ TOUR PACKAGE for this particular day. everyone thank them for sharing the footage so you get to see it too!
on the way back to the dressing room after our performance we ran into IAMX who's room was right next to ours, had hugs, took some sick pics, and they invited us to come onstage with them towards the end of their set for their song The Alternative. that shit was fuckin ROCKIN! i played on the singer Chris's drums cause they were the tallest, and trevor smacked a keg over on the drummer's kit. unfortunately i gentle gianted the fuck outta chris's drum head so i felt compelled to leave him a little note which i guess he'll see next time his drums are unpacked for the next show or something. :-(
watched a bit of VNV NATION after that, always a pleasure to see my homegirls up there owning the giant 5 foot tall platform!, then i headed out to the bus to play DUCK DUCK GOOSE with my home girl and mother of my tranny-icorn GINA fucking DORKA and her buddy, , and then... and THEEEENnnnn, it was time for chris corner from IAMX (and SNEAKER PIMPS for those who don't know) to tattoo trevor! trev asked him if he'd be into tattooing "IAMX" on his ankle, and since its something he'd never done before, he was pretty stoked on it. and he did GREAT! i remember tattooing dennis from BLB and i SUCKED at it.... SHEESH! chris should start tattooing for realz!
eventually the night came to an end, and we had the rest of the evening to hang out, play UNO, fuck chicks, have relay races with used condoms and prepare and pack the rest of our stuff for a quick exit off the bus in the morning once we arrived at the airport to leave for rome. just before bed i went for a walk with abbey and came across a poster advertising a RAMMSTEIN show on the next tour coming up that we won't be on, and that made me sad. :-( see ya tomorrow ROME! beebittybobbittyboobitty.com motherfuckers. <3
