Glass sculpture falls to the floor
No one saw it happen at all
Don't think no one would've noticed it
It was very plain, didn't have a real form
Wasn't ugly or beautiful looking
How can anyone tell really
I bent down scrambling for the pieces
You see, it belonged to me
Just sort of made it by hand, my oddball figurine
It had significant value to me
It had all that was me inside
As I fumbled for the pieces
I found out they were hard to pick up
The pieces were jagged and sharp
I think I punctured myself a little
Still, I had to get it off the floor
Before anyone crushes the fragile pieces
I want to try to fix this piece of artwork
The strange thing is, this isn't the first time
This sculpture has been broken many times
That is why it's so warped looking
I try to piece it back together
And even make new pieces to it
It will never look the same as before
The original beautiful work of art it was...
I might need help with it
The help may not turn it back to normal
But it can at least make it into something new
And then it will once again be desirable Mood: depressed
