It’s not about looks, who is the most original, who has the nicest things, or who has the most money. Nor is it about your music, movies, partying, or drugs & alcohol. A great life should never be based on any of those things. Life is all about loving, learning, moving on, and growing up. Although they might be the hardest things will ever have to face. When we grow older our best friends become worst enemies, lollipops turn into cigarettes, the innocent ones turn into sluts/whores, homework gets put last on the agenda, detention becomes suspension, soda turns into vodka, bikes become cars, kisses turn into sex. There was a time when your worst enemies were only found in video games, race issues were only a matter of who ran the fastest, war was only a card game, the only drug you knew was cough syrup, the only thing that ever hurt you were skinned knees, and goodbyes were only until tomorrow. Remember those times back when getting high meant swinging on the playground? Using protection meant wearing a helmet? The worst thing you could get from the Opposite sex was cooties? Dad’s shoulders were the highest place on earth and mom was your hero? To think we couldn’t wait to grow up. I have decided to ignore those depressing factors and begin to live my life for myself; yours truly. I will no longer let the world around me influence my decisions. I am only responsible for myself from now on. I can no longer blame my mistakes on the pressures around me, I’ve learned to own up to my faults and recognize those imperfections in hopes to grow as a person. - Patrick Starr

It was November 27th,2007
The phone rang twice
I answered it
The words that i heard,
brought me to my knees.
I began to cry,
the lost my breath.
My heart in a fast pace rhtym,
the one person that could always bring me happiness,
is now gone!
by his own hands the deed is done.
I feel that i will never survive,
i dont want to move on, yet i do continue.
Days pass and i try to forget his name,
I cry everynight and mope all day.
my life feels ruined till that night!
I began 2 cry, then I begin to feel a hand.
Its coming from the heavens,
the hand of the one that is lost.
I feel enlightened and calmed.
At that moment i realized...
I WILL MOVE ON!!!
