The festive season

It gets to this time of year and it makes me think about the year that is about to be over.
This year hasn't really been a good one.
My cousin killing himself in April REALLY hit me hard.
Plus other stuff as well.
It got me thinking though, that Christmas time really is a time to be with your family.
My family is THE most important thing in my life.
There are obviously some members missing this year and they will be remembered in our own way.
But more than ever people need to realize just how important your family really is.
With the way the world is at the moment people should be coming together as a family unit and not being at each others throats.
Every day I tell my brothers and my mum and grandmother that I love them because I mean it.
More people need to do that.
You're family are your blood.
You love them no matter what.
Granted sometimes it's hard with certain members of ones family but I always make the time to tell even the ones I rarely talk to that I care.
Even if it's a Christmas card or a telephone call.
I just needed to write that.
Has been in the back of my mind all night.
