I went shooting on the weekend with Henry. Turns out that even after all this time not going to the shooting range, I'm still a pretty good shot. I think I'd fare pretty well in a zombie apocalypse provided I had lots of guns and ammo.

I might actually start looking forward to my birthday again if they're all as pleasant as this one was. I got absolutely spoiled rotten. Some wonderfully marvellous and amazing person (Henry) rocked up at my door with these beautiful flowers (which have made my room smell super pretty). Then he took me out for lunch AND dinner, both of which were absolutely fabulous, and then stayed the night at my place to have a few celebratory drinks and keep me company. My dad got this amazingly adorable cake. I don't wanna eat it, it's just too cute! So yes, I had a very enjoyable 20th birthday. =] Now to plan something equally epic for Henry's birthday. Okay, so I normally don't care at all for new years, but the second half of last year was full of so much crap and negativity that I'm really happy for a fresh start. I'm excited to put all the things that were upsetting me behind me and start over. I hope everyone has a wonderful year. Mood: Optimistic, for a change. Music: Nick Cave

So I went and saw the Misfits in concert tonight. It was freaking AMAZING!!!! Best sixty-something dollars I ever spent. Not only was the music and stuff fantastic (though I now feel like I have big squishy marshmallows in my ears), but (SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!) I also scored a kiss from Jerry Only! I have this HUGE goofy grin on my face and I suspect it will stay there until my facial muscles simply can't hold it there any longer due to fatigue. -insert more fan-girl squealy noises here- Mood: Ecstatic
