On Monday 30th May we released Evinta, a monumental exploration of emotion and passion captured with classical instruments, operatic vocals and soundscaping keyboards together with poetry and vocals from Aaron. Spread over a total of 3 CD's this epic collection of melancholy and hopelessness sees the band do away with guitars and drums in favour of cello's and violins, flutes and timpani drums creating an utterly dark atmosphere, as beautiful as it is frightening. Vocals come from mezzo soprano Lucie Roche, the talented professional opera singer from France along with Aaron's unique style of spoken word and vocal harmony giving voice to new lyrics and poetry. A current & superb review of this opus can be found here: http://www.sonicabuse.com/2011/05/my-dying-bride-evinta-album-review/ A very successful UK tour has just been completed too and the band are now concentrating harder than ever on the next studio release which is planned for late Summer. Following the band during the tour were a video crew, capturing choice moments both public and private which the band hope to release as a DVD documentary some time in the future. New merchandise is also available from: http://www.mydyingbridestore.com/ My Dying Bride fans in the US may also be interested to learn that the band will perform at the 70,000 tons of Metal floating festival in early 2012: http://www.70000tons.com/
