I'm saving up to redeem it and I do hope I have enough bucks before the maturity date expires. Next time, I'll save up and there will be no need for pawn shops. Mood: sleepy Music: Amnesis-Annabelle (Another OST)
So I was sitting in Theater Arts class when suddenly there's an earthquake. My classmates started asking, "WHAT THE HELL? IS THAT AN EARTHQUAKE?!!?" and in the middle of holding Yamie's hand, I was like, "You don't say...?"
The girls are shrieking and one of my older classmates kept saying that everyone should stay calm but students outside of our room are already pushing each other toward the lower floors.Everyone was in the uni's quadrangle. I just can't believe how humanity is getting more and more shallow. Some students are saying that they should 'trend' it on Twitter. Others are powdering their faces, putting on lipstick. DAFUQ. Like, srsly?
It's almost an hour when the university's guards announced that classes are suspended and it will resume tomorrow. My friends and I didn't went home straight away--instead, we went to look for a place to eat (McDonalds had decided to close and so were other fast food joints). We went to church after. In the middle of the Mass, a couple of people in the street started running. Philip and I went out the church to find out what's the ruckus all about. People are panicking again, saying that there's a tsunami. When my other friend Rachel found out about this, she started crying.
Then word came out that the so-called tsunami is already making its way in the South (where I lived). Philip, who also lived in the same area as me suggested we should find higher ground just to be safe. I really want to go home at that time but I don't want to go home alone, leaving my three friends. To make matters worse, I don't have a phone so I have to rely on Carla's phone to contact my Aunt. Unfortunately, signals are fucked up and there's nothing we can do but witness the apocalypse that will hit us in the ass.
A couple of policemen said that the tsunami scare is gone and everything's safe and sound. We decided to go home but the jeepneys are already full so we decided to walk the streets until we can find a jeepney. We have walked for almost six hours...in school uniform and heels. I was complaining about my foot and all I could think is food and home.
Aftershocks had piled up as soon as I got home. I really hate earthquakes. They make me dizzy. But it was one heck of an adventure. Mood: exhausted Music: What You Want-Evanescence
So I was about to read my text message when my phone failed to cooperate. I removed the battery and when I turned the phone on, a sound came out but my phone is black. Ergo, I can't see anything. Everything still works (I can still received messages/calls, the sounds are ok) but there must be something wrong with the LCD. FML. Mood: pissed off Music: Take a Chance-The Magic Numbers
