(no, I'm not giving you my Facebook page so don't even bother asking me to be your friend on it)

go like my friend's band's page.

They just recently started the band, and uploaded one of their songs.

The guitarist asked me to check it out and promote the band, so they can build a fan base.

On the move again February 09, 2012, 06:47:pm
Just recently my mother recieved a letter from the landlord stating that our household (consisting of my mom, myself, and my two siblings) have to be moved out of the house by April, as they are selling the house that we are living at right now.
Previously, we have moved quite a bit before, but not as frequent as everyone thinks. I remember moving from one apartment to another, then to a mobile home (from 1993 until 2007), to the house that my immediate family (excluding my father, because of the divorce) lives in, but then I moved to Iowa (to help my bestfriend and her family...I loved being closer to them but I didn't plan well enough to move there) and lived at two other mobile homes (stayed at one for at least a month before moving next door to another one), to a three story house with nine other roommates, then back to living at the house that my family has moved into in 2008.
It's a nice home, but it's different than what I was used to, personally. I grew up and spent most of my life in that mobile home that my parents lived in for so long before everything sorta fell apart. The majority of my friends that I've made lived in the same trailer park as I did, and when I moved to that house afterwards, I felt like I moved in a new town, and there was barely any room for me in that house to live in. The landlords constantly have to help us with problems within the house (the people who lived here before us trashed the place, we had problems with the furnance, basement flooding, etc) and I'm assuming that they're getting sick of it, or something else to where they decided to sell it.
Hopefully our search of a new house won't be much of a struggle, since we're looking for something specific that meets our guidelines. (If you have been through this before, how did you find a new place?) Wish us luck, and I'll keep you updated on the search.

Rest of 2011 update December 23, 2011, 12:22:pm
Sorry I haven't been on here as much as I used to anymore. There are still a few comments from others that I have to reply back and I never did.

I'll post what I've been up to in chronological order by month.

August: my friend's dad was in the hospital. He was released sometime later and as of now, he's doing even better.
September: got into a car accident with my best friend. I ended up with a broken nose and it took about two weeks to recover. However, since I was in the car and they had insurance, I didn't have to pay anything because the insurance company fixed that for me.
October: finished one of my eight week classes for college and started another one. I gathered my friends and spent Halloween attending the 3rd annual zombie walk in Davenport, Iowa. For our living situation, my roommate and I moved out of the garage into the basement of the house we're staying at.
November: my roommate and I purchased a 1992 Ford Bronco from a friend and have been driving it ever since. It runs pretty decent, but we need to fix up the vehicle a bit so we can take the bronco further. Also, two of the roommates that were living with us have been kicked out by the owners because they held their niece and her daughter hostage, and then left them stranded in a different state.
December: I finished my first semester at a different school (out of state), and did somewhat better than I expected (minus the two classes). My family back home wanted me to come back for the holidays, so a friend and I came back by bus. I'm currently catching up with old friends and family, and glad to be back home for a bit.

Hope you all have a Happy Holidays!

My best friend’s dad is in the hospital again August 27, 2011, 12:09:am
The same one who got into a really bad car accident around Easter (mid April). I dunno if it’s still related to it, or if it’s completely different. He’s been in Rock Island, Illinois at this place and he has been there for a couple days now. He went through surgery okay (they weren’t sure if he was going to make it) but he nearly died around 6 P.M.

I really hope that he survives this stage. The family are completely devastated and really need the prayers to get them all through…
