Been a while since I posted a journal! Life is going really well in London. I love my job at Playfish and I've made some great friends there. Sometimes it's even hard to leave and go home! It's certainly good to stay when there's beer and a foosball table Recently decided I really need to get fitter, so I've been running since the start of December. It's going pretty well. My longest run has been just over 6k so far. Considering joining a gym so I can work out on week nights, as currently before and after work it's dark, and I don't want to go running in the dark! Been single for a year now! Longest time since I was 13! I can honestly say though, this has easily been the best year of my life so far! Been shopping a lot since I moved here too! Created a beauty blog about the things that I buy and review if anyone's interested http://hannahsbeautysweet.blogspot.com/ Anyway, thanks for reading x

More life changes!

Things have changed a lot from my last life change post! Nottingham didn't work out at all, it was the lowest point of my life so far & I was very unhappy with all elements of my life; work, home, friendship, romance, money. After spending Christmas with my family in Wales, I hated the thought of returning to Nottingham where I was so miserable. However I went back, only to be welcomed with my housemate being a cow, a shitty day at work, followed by my boyfriend ending us (having arrived home with his PS3 Christmas present from me). I couldn't stay there any more; my parents came to pick me up that night & I handed in notice for my house & job. I spent a couple of months working supply at the special needs school I used to work for, although that was only a short-term plan to gain some of the money I'd lost from spending it on Adam over Christmas. Last year, I had an interview scheduled at Playfish which I cancelled due to me getting the job at Outso. I decided to email and ask if they'd consider giving me a second interview. Fortunately they did, I attended and got the job. I moved to London in March to start my new job as a QA Engineer for Playfish. I have never loved a job so much, I really like working there. It's a far cry from my QA jobs at Frontier & Outso. My only worry is that sometimes it seems too good to be true! I've made some good friends & have had some great nights out. Recently my team celebrated the closed beta launch of our new game; The Sims Social, we all went to a bowling alley/bar hired privately for us. Twas a good night! I'm hoping to develop my skills in art at Playfish, with the hope of eventually becoming a games artist, but that's far away I'm sure as I'm a complete n00b to that side of things currently, but Playfish is willing to help me get there which is nice. Anyway, so yeah, life is good =)
