I finally picked my minor, I'm going to do Religious Studies. A bit slow, but since I'm ahead for classes on my major it shouldn't be too hard to catch up on it. But this upcoming semester is definitely going to be the most difficult. I am studying: Hominid fossils Anthropology of Religion Archaeology Complex Cultures Religion: Soc Perspective Carl Jung's Theory of Religion

There was some difficulty deciding what I should be this Halloween. Originally I wanted to be Link, but had a difficult time putting a costume together (Maybe next year). So I decided I wanted to be a ZOMBIE RESEARCH TECH! And get the white lab coat and everything. Too bad for me, my boyfriend didn't have a costume or the time to figure one out. So I let him have my lab coat and my white shirt (it's big enough for a guy), and I'm going to be his partner a zombie nurse. It's a pretty cool costume, most of it is pretty typical. Short skirt, low cut shirt, cool nurse hat and stockings. But I'm also filling a bunch of oral syringes with blood, and I have an IV bag full of blood, pretty neat! Pictures will be up after this weekend's Zombie Walk.

Well I've kept a journal for a little while now. Although I don't write in it often, I think this is the longest I have kept a journal in my whole life, w00t for me. Well I had a great weekend. Started off with Oktoberfest. The first night we went we got to see some freaking Schuaplattln (Slap Dancing). Where a bunch of dancers run out, dance around. Then the men slap each other, then dance, then whip each others arms, then the bring out a huge log and axe it. I got hit in the face with a woodchip, it was awesome. We also, like everyone else, drank a lot of beer, and ate a lot of sausage. We also had a couple jagerbombs. Then the next day I went for Thanksgiving at Dans place, and discovered a new allergy to wasps. Never had it when I was a kid, but suddenly I do. Joy! So my upper arm has swollen to twice it's size. The group 2008! Oh, look it's Onkel Hans! The Oktoberfest Mascot! Someone got lucky with the German gal! There was a beer tapping at the fest, and after the keg was tapped we were walked down the isle by a full band, to get a nice cold free beer. This was the group of dancers axing at a log. Awesome. Sausage.. Yumm! That big lady in the back went off at me for standing up. More Dancing! Weee..... Mmmm, Oktoberfest beer!

My boyfriend is so awesome. The shirt above is one of the gifts he got me for our anniversary. He also went out of his way and made me dinner (something he's never done before), and had everything prepared for when I came home. It was probably the best anniversary we had yet. He also got me MGS4 which I've been waiting to play for ages, but too broke to afford. I used my new graduate mixology skills to make us some amazing drinks, while we snuggled together, got ripped and watched Drawn Together. Not to be all mushy, but it was a great night. I've also aced my mixology course, as noted above. I'm now a certified bartender and a graduate mixologist. Hopefully I'll start to reel in the money now. I got him (not as nice for what he did for me) the Computer Sceince 101 kit, with comes with three of his favourite nerdy films He was really happy with his gift as well. No... We're not a nerdy couple
