Hi! So, um, yeah, I've just realised I haven't been on here in the LONGEST time! So, yeah, I'm just gonna post a couple of updates.
First of all, I may or may not be going of my little pony: friendship is magic - its not that its gotten boring, its just that I've kinda lost track and determination in being a brony. Also, I'm writing a fanfic centred around it - it'll be called 'total eclipse' and it will centre around how princess Luna became nightmare moon.
Also, I've been having trouble on my university course. So yeah, it isn't that I've fallen behind (in fact, I got a 72 on my first Sociology essay - which is AWESOME!!!!!!!) but I'm having trouble 1) researching and writing my first really big essay about Karl Marx and Max Weber 2) I can't be bothered researching the Crown Prosecution Service for my poster on the criminal justice system 3) I just can't be bothered with my portfolio!
But yeah, you know, I've also been caught up with other shit - for example, SOPA and PIPA being discussed in the USA (trust me, they would make America look like a bunch of hypocrites - you tell China to stop censoring the internet, then discuss censoring it yourselves - REALLY POLITICS?????????????????)
Also, the one fandom I've truly become attached to is the hunger games. and guest what? THE MOVIE HAS NEARLY LANDED! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Also, christmas gifts (since you'll all want to know) - I got a kindle, a new iPod, and around 30 pounds worth of cash!
Yeah, I haven't posted much here in AGESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Mainly cos 1) I haven't had internet for about 2 weeks and 2) I kind got disinterested in this site (I still check it, but you know, nothing much to post! =/)
So, I've recently gotten into University to study Sociology and Criminology (with 3 B's on my exams, GET IN! XD) and so far it isn't to bad - I haven't had much work yet, except for this stupid essay about the causes of the recent riots here in England (with I forgot to put my name to before emailing! -_-). But yeah, so far its pretty awesome!
One of the things I've recently gotten into whilst I was there has been archery. I ain't gonna lie, archery is tough, but its really fun! Especially hitting the bullseye on the target! XD So yeah, if you wanna go for it, I RECOMMEND IT!
Okay, so first of all, I'm not a judgmental person (or at least I don't intend to be) so I'll say that this post is very strictly about my opinion on the matter. I'm posting it here only because 1) none of my friends on fb in the UK are here and 2) my blogger has one of my friends following - who happens to be involved in this.
Okay, so first of all, why "awkward chinese"? well, obviously, we had chinese, but it was awkward because two of my friends recently broke up with each other. The reason I found it awkward was because the guy he broke up with was a bit of twat - he has aspergers syndrome, like me, but he always uses it as an excuse to be a dick. I'm glad to see he doesn't use it anymore - to reveal that he is, in fact, a legitimate dickwad!
Why am I even posting about this? Because said friend's ex is airing his dirty laundry for all to say. My friend has only said 1 or 2 things about it - stating he won't talk about it on formspring when asked, and changing his relationship status. What about the other guy? Well, he did those 2 things - and he also posted on facebook saying he wouldn't talk about (which in passive-aggressive english means "LOOK AT ME! I'M NOT BEING THE DICK HERE!!!!!", common among MASSIVE dicks). When a friend of mine mention no one was talking to him, he state "sean (me) and (anonymous person) were talking to me" and mentioned others, and then my other friend stated "well they didn't want to". I can't speak of anonymous, but I didnb't want to - I was thrust into talking to him, just because I was late to the dinner! Also, everyone had left me alone with the guy, so I was forced to talk to him, cos I'm not rude enough to ignore him when we're one-to-one! (If I was in a group with him, I could easily blow him off)
Also, in situations such as this, I try to be a neutral member - which is difficult when 1) you've only heard one side of the story and 2) you like the person who broke up with him. I feel that the dude didn't treat his ex-boyfriend with the respect he truly deserved, because he is such a sweet, caring person, with an amazing personality. Honestly, what he did by maltreating him was throw away a massive reward of which he didn't actually deserve! From my own personal experience, the guy he broke up with (and the one before that) was a complete dick who didn't deserve the light of day from him!
So anyway, I really needed to vent because the guy I'm pissed with is being such an attention-seeking dick. What's worse is that, from his past, he will always be associated with aspergers syndrome, and I feel that would give the syndrome a bad name - I don't want to be associated with complete asswipes who don't know what they want, who they want it from, or how to get it in a way in which they deserve it! How my friend even ended up being his boyfriend is a complete shock to me! I hope he meets someone he deserves, someone who cares enough for him that we can all be happy Mood: Pissed the fuck off!
Okay, so I'm just on the computer, doing some youtube business, listening to lady gaga and emilie autumn - and I see a guy doesn't like her, and I make a joke about what I call "Death Metal Elitists" - those douches who think they're better than me because they listen to death metal.
Anyway, this ended up going into a huge debate about what music actually was - in my opinion, death metal is NOT music because 1) I can't relate to it and 2) I can't sing it and pick up its (frankly stupid and horrible) message.
After a while, I then point out the lack of variety in death metal lyrics - and then we suddenly need a holocaust for people like me! I'm sorry for pointing out an obvious fact - yeah, pop music doesn't exactly have a wide range of lyrical genius, but at least I can listen and relate on some level!
If you listen to death metal, don't you EVER claim you're better than me. If you think you're better than me, you obviously aren't better!
If you think what I do and what I like or what I want is "the wrong thing" or "pathetic" then you can get back on your high horse and drive off a cliff into a river with sharp rocks. I hope half the shit sprouted in your amazing death metal songs actually happens to you, you fucking c***!!!!!!!!!!!!!
