How strange life is you know? We wake up and live this life that was given to us by some higher power or whatever. We're just watched day by day by whatever put us here. Maybe it was science and maybe it was some higher being, but whatever it is sure as hell gets a kick out of watching us destroy ourselves day to day. Honestly, I would too. It's amazing our human race is even interesting at all. Look at us; we wake up and work a 9-5 job, come home eat and sleep. We cease to live interestingly at all. We just sit around with our monotonous routines. If anyone has ever dared to take a step out of the norm then they've included drugs, but who am I to talk right?
The question I would have to ask is "are you living" ? And not just breathing living, but actually LIVING. Have you ever risked something important? How many times can you honestly say you've put yourself out on the line just for the sake of the thrill?
I can't say I have taken the risk of befriending someone completely out of range. I can't say I have ever risked being in love with someone. But I think I am ready to risk everything I have got. I have to test waters. I can't just breathe and be Cable.
I think that you should be in love as many times as possible because if you don't love the one you got then you feel a little empty. Life IS short, so love the one you got. Sublime knew what they were talking about. They really did. You gotta feel as much as you can to remind yourself that you are human and this is what humans do. We feel and the more we try to protect ourselves from trying to understand and feel pain in any form, the more we're dehumanizing ourselves.
I am ready. This is the real adventure.
